When Dr. Anderson started speaking about the black communities in every major city it reminded me of what my 90 year old great grandmother told me! She said we had everything in our communities for us by us and she didn’t desire to be in the white communities, she absolutely loved the way life was during her time……

She is right I am late seventies. We held our heads high were defined by our parents, neighbors , teachers, Pastors ,Church Families . They defined us with positives no t deficits and negatives. The children of late seventies and eighties were defined by Socialists , phycologists, Media Pundits and journalists ,who had no real clues to our culture .These folks defined by deficits and negatives The children of the ni ties walked into those definitions.

Lol at people in the comments try to downplay your comments. 'Educated' elders'. 'Serious' elders lol. *Without an education they still have a wealth of life experience and knowledge that we will never have.* And no education can teach us some of what they lived through. And there are many stories and things only they can tell us, even if they were saying it 'playfully'. Lol how why are people so sprung up on allowing people like our elders receiving the respect they deserve 🤷‍♂️

Yes, you do. Try being in WWII Poland and being annihilated. It's called man's inhumanity to man! What did James Brown say: I don't want nobody to give me nothing, open up the door, I'll get it myself!! And if you don't get educated properly which public schools are mostly the worst, how are you supposed to get a decent job? And why is black on black crime the highest. Who cares what white schools had, public schools for blacks were the worst! Why? That was so wrong!!! I knew that in the early 70's.

@Ashley ashley Speaking as a much older woman, you're young still. You probably still have to work on a job - decades from retirement- maybe you're married and/ or have children at home. You may have senior citizen parents/ grandparents who may need you. You're station in life mandates that you have to get along with people. At 85, Dr. Anderson is way past all of that. The reality of mortality loudly knocks at his door. Everyday that he opens his eyes is a gift. So, yes he can speak his truth.

That did not last very fucking long. The interview with Dr. Claud Anderson was up next in my KZbin suggestions. I truly enjoy listening to Dr. Anderson and those like him, He has picked apart the Constitution. Knows the history and motivations that have brought us to this point and time. I am "asian" and grew up in asia and i never saw myself as anything other than my nationality ( example : Thai). I didn't view people from neighbouring countries as " Asian" and nor did i identify as a "Asian". Living in the west where you are immediately lumped as "Asian" because of your physical features despite the crazy amount of diversity and differences in culture and lifestyle between say a Indonesian and a Korean or a Tibetan , you get sucked in and start to see yourself and people with similar facial features as "Asian" ( even though in reality, aspects of their culture, food and lifestyle is equally foreign to me as it is to a white person). Western society is very tribal in this way and forces you to pick a side. It's a very race obsessed society.

Officials and Presidents of Asian countries know and understand very well that they are "ASIAN" because they limit how much influence "Western" or (europeanized) countries have on their society. Thailand,Cambodia,Vietnam, etc. Continue to practice their traditional culture and speak their native language. Plus, rules on how they treat foreigners. (Example) In Japan, a foreigner must be married to a native Japanese to own land..

He said Africans don’t need reparations because they’re not native blacks. Native blacks were stripped of their culture, stripped of their “Africanness”. He actually answers the phone. I called him 6 years ago and asked for guidance. His words to me was this, ”be like Noah, save the one's who listen and let rest drown”.

That's one of the statements that Yvette and Tone didn't like. Truth hurts!!!! Quid Pro Quo!!! Why vote when you haven't been promised any policies. We are waking up 400 years NO MORE SHORTS!!!

Also be careful of the informants that invade our circles and speak negative. Just bc they look like us don't mean their for us. Just bc they speak on our platforms..just stay woke bc "Their" always lurking.

I'm a BLACK Cuban-born. There is in fact RACISM in Cuba. But I never understood the true dynamics of RACISM until I came to America. And thanks to men like Malcolm X, M.L.K, jr, Dr Umar, Claire Anderson, Stokely Charmicael, Muhammad Alí, Bill Russell and many others. To all of: THANK YOU! 👍🏿
