The contrast between the Never Story and the Forever story is so beautiful to me. I love how family focused and raw this project was. JID is one of those artists that hasn't been cemented into mainstream but his music resonates with so many people that mainstream isn't far away but it's also not the ultimate goal. His humility is always refreshing to experience. I can't wait for his name to start coming up in conversations more about who some of the greatest artists are of our time. Between his personal projects and his work with Spillage, he's not only grown as an artist but as a person as well. It's always dope to see people reach another point in their life, especially when you've been able to hear them speak those things into existence on wax. Excited to see him continue to perfect his craft and take his time to do so.

crazy that people still just considering him in the "new school of rappers". he fr one of the best rappers out today and, in my opinion, will go down as one of the best EVER. Talk about hopeless lol, most people feel like good when they're affecting the changes they want to see, sounds to me like you're another one of those who sit around on the couch after a long day and complain about how "fucked" the world is instead of putting some effort towards a cause......any cause (they're truly passionate about).......you'd be surprised how inspired you can get as well as the inspiration you leave for others with some concern, thought and effort. Consciousness means nothing if it aint being put to use, its one thing to understand whats going on and even then we never have the full picture but the parts that we do have is left to us to decipher and build onto it for those who come after. You can't tell me if your doing that you'd feel hopeless, I didn't say the world is perfect or there ain't alot wrong that needs to be right but we all get nowhere if our attitude is "oh well, whatever". We have too many people complacent in this Hell and some think they'll see heaven doing the bare minimum, but you have to be willing to adjust your perspective.
