I’m only 6 minutes into this interview and I’m already crying. I had the honor of knowing her Dad. He was a teacher when I was in HS but I never had him as a teacher. However, into my 30’s and now 40’s I had the pleasure of knowing him. I looked forward to our conversations. We had the best conversations about life, culture, food, music and just people in general. Her father was really an intellectual and kind person. He will be missed tremendously. 💜

NIa is no joke. Her ability to command the vibe of the room is something to study!!! Her pauses, taking time to answer questions, her look in your eye, choices of words. On top of that she knows her craft to the core. A true Melancholic temperament. She is someone you could have an intelligent conversation with for hours..

I swear while she was talking to my fellow 9th grader, she was flirting with him, pulling down her shirt to show him her tattoo on her titty.
