Best part of the clip is when they share a hug at the end of the dance... there was true emotion between the three of them; that's a big part of why these cheesy, weak plot driven movies were successful. I loved the costumes they had for this scene.. Something tells me that this was probably the last scene they filmed for this movie and those three hugging and crying.. Those are probably real tears of joy as three under rated new actors were given one of the biggest chances of their lives. They made a movie that would be seen by millions and millions of people for years to come and were helping introduce a more open mind for dancing.

I just read on IMDB that -- According to Lucinda Dickey, Adolfo Quinones would often try to show her up and make her feel intimidated because of her dancing ability and their clashes within the film rang true with his personal resentment for her which was also shared by their co-star Michael Chambers. So the scene at the end where they're all hugging.. That was probably real. The moment when they finally accepted Lucinda as a dancer and colleague.. That's so touching.
