I think a mold that God is telling me to break in my life is my constant need to be perfect. I have this idea that I’m only a good Christian if I get absolutely everything right, and I know I need to break free from that. It’s like someone once said, Jesus was perfect so that we don’t have to be.

That person was only half right. Jesus was perfect, so we COULD be. In the world, there is no hope of perfection because we are sinful from our youth up. In Christ, perfection is a commandment. And God doesn't give you commands you can't do. Maybe breaking the mould isn't simply not being molded to perfection, but getting a new mould, also, one that's framed through Christ and made of the Holy Spirit. Because breaking the mould means an accomplishment, not a lack of accomplishment. And faith without works is dead.

I agree 100% with what Lokalani said I too need to be broken out of the mold of fearing man. Especially those who challenge the word or try to defend something the Bible calls a sin. I also need to break out of the mold of pride and greed. It’s hurting me everyday and i’m tired of not allowing my God to do His work in me. With Christ all things are possible ♥️

I'm a freshman in college, and I am majoring in nursing. I have a horrible habit of setting unrealistic expectations, self-comparison, and constantly needing to be perfect 24/7. It's exhausting and my heart is tired of the same mold. My unhealthy habits are one of the leading causes of my lack of faith and I think God is trying to get me out of this vicious cycle by breaking the mold.

Im a senior nursing student in college and I totally struggle with the same things. I understand those expectations, I just put an assignment away because I was tired and over-worked and instead I listened to this podcast episode and it confirmed that putting God and my faith first, and asking what he wants us to do is a good start at breaking the mold.

Great great message guys! The mold in my life I need to break is the fear of the unknown or having to know the outcomes before they happen and trusting in God more. Having the need to be in control of things is what I have to break, and understand God is in control of all outcomes, and to not be afraid of the unknown because it takes my joy away. Trust in who God says I am, and whose I am, and to understand I’m human, and I can do nothing on my own, but put the effort in, and God will direct and handle the rest! Amen 🙏🏾 love you guys

My God! I say when He has, is and does have His words explained to where they can be understood. And specifically for me when I’m pondering the meaning of a saying, search the scriptures and learn more but not what I was looking for. If that makes sense. Having grown up AME and became Baptist was to me like being drawn in to the light. Many customers of AME till this day are the same. Lord help me help them break the mold of the way it used to be and they feel it should be which leads to no fruition within the body of. And Thank You Lord God for using this vessel as we pray healing from within his body from the crown of his head to the souls of his feet in this day and every day this is our prayer and plea in Thy Holy Name Jesus, Amen Amen and Amen.
