Why stop the NFA? Why do I have to pay sales tax is on a firearms or ammunition at all? Why do manufacturers who make the product to sell to me I have to pay taxes on what is at its in-state firearm or ammunition? If memory serves there’s a “vice” tax on the creation of a firearm too. Also I shouldn’t have to pay the “wetlands” tax that’s rolled into the price of ammunition as well. The Fudds can bank roll that tax all by themselves.

The “rule” and their enforcement efforts will only be on hold. The people who support the NFA and associated laws didnt just disappear. In 4 years they will be back. We have to push for repeal of the laws, and for courts that will rule against them as unconstitutional. You can’t do that without rocking the boat.

By getting completely contradictory interpretations over a period time from various sources is a perfect illustration to our legislators that there is something very wrong and this willy-nilly bureaucracy is out of control. Thanks For keeping us well informed on this matter Mike. Having a pistol braced ar for the oast 10 years while camping in my RV is so much easier. And second nature. Even going back to a 16in folded rifle causes issues/delays. Plus they are easier to teach beginners on. Not having to focus on the forward weight and long barrel. Couple ladies have told me they are a lot less intimidating then a 16 or 20 inch barrel.

Big miss here I'm afraid Mr Guns. They said the "overly broad" sentence and then went on to say why they could still do their lawlessness under NFA and GCA just like they did in the original response to the GOA member.
