@@semiposer6111 The Infinity War was a six-issue limited series by Jim Starlin and Ron Lim. It’s sits between The Infinity Gauntlet saga and The Infinity Crusade. Published in the early 90’s. The story marks the return of The Magus as the antagonist with Adam Warlock and Thanos siding together, along with other earth 616 heroes. Doom and Kang team up in hopes of securing the powers the Magus wields via a collection of cosmic cubes. Lots of tie-ins with other comics.

I still think it's theoretically possible that Marvel will surprise us by having Kang back in some scenes, since public opinion of him changed during the trial. He was only found guilty on 2 of the lesser counts, and a lot of people believe he was actually the victim - and thus believe that he shouldn't have had his career ruined like this. Granted, Marvel released him after the trial, so they know everything about it already, but I think the public perception of him has gotten more positive over time, maybe even to the point where Marvel might think it would be cool to surprise everyone. Likely not, but I think it's at least possible - and if they only need to put him in a few scenes, it wouldn't take much time to film it. They could wait until closer to the release to see if the public perception keeps improving, and add it in at the last minute.

My theory for Avengers: Doomsday is that they're gonna do what they did for Deadpool and Wolverine and make the beginning the end of Avengers: Endgame, us seeing Thanos about to snap with the nano gauntlet but it's green instead, and once we see Thanos say "I am, inevitable" and he finds out that Tony took the stones, instead of saying "And I, am, Ironman" he says something like "And I, am Doom" and once he snaps all of Thanos' forces dust away because they were the last people who could stop Doom
