You know rewatching this show really brought a different perspective to my eyes. Its been over ten years since this aired, in that time I have become a father, and I have lost my father too cancer. I always thought Walt's character was weird but I liked the actor, I couldn't relate to him but I thought I understood him well enough. I watched powerless as someone I loved slowly died from stage 4 colon cancer. Only to make a dramatic recovery and go into full remission. We thought it was over, I mean it had been 6 years, but than their health slowly degraded again. It got worse, and they insisted it was nothing that this was normal. He never told us the cancer came back, and being a father now I can only imagine what I would do for my family if I was in that situation. There is two perspectives to this show, the one as a random teen viewer, and the one as an adult father, the show didn't change but the meaning sure did.

I don’t see what you see. I don’t see Hector mocking his nurse’s apology or making faces at the DEA. P.S. In the following scene, wasn’t the explosive on the wheelchair on the same side as the bell, as it was wired to the bell as it’s detonator? If so, I noticed while rewatching this scene that the wrong side of Gus’ face was destroyed from the explosion. It should have been his left side of his face, because he was facing Hector when it went off, and the bell was on the right side of Hector’s wheelchair.

I love the way BB always forces the viewer to think about being in his shoes. The problem was never the fact Walt decided to cook meth to leave his family comfortable after being handed a death sentence. Walt's real problem was he became comfortable with being a sociopath at times even intoxicated by the power and the need to outsmart his enemies. He provided for his family a million times over and essentially left a trail of death and bloodshed in his wake, when a lot of the death toll could of been avoided I guess you could make the argument he had too many ties and commitments at that point and couldn't just walk away, but Walt had that disappear me and my family at any time money.
