Saul Goodman was originally intended to be a walk on role for two or three episodes. Bob Odenkirk portrayed him so well they expanded the role and then gave him a show. His show is an emotional rollercoaster.

Another fan favorite (that we haven't seen yet) also was supposed to only be on for a couple episodes. He played the character different than he was imagined in the script, and he basically built a mystique around himself so he could negotiate his way into a major role for the show. The KZbin channel Fact Fiend has a whole episode on it!

Seems to me they pretty much fully got it right away. Most reactors are confused at that moment and often ask the comments why Walt did That, but they pretty much nailed it imediately: Walt “seeing the monster he’s become” (literally, in the distorted reflection of the dented metal), assuming he was dying very soon and using that to justify his actions and now realizing he will likely live long enough to have to live with what he’s done and what he’s becoming, they got all of that, & I couldn’t have explained it any better myself.

In my eyes Walt's reaction at the end of the episode (smashing this thing) wasn't surprising at all. The situation when the results of the latest scan get presented to you is so stressful. When the results are good the you have the get rid of the adrenaline afterwards.

My wife and I have always kept our bank accounts separate. We've been dating since high school so we just had the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" with our lives. We each pay certain bills and if something comes up we discuss and figure it out. Not many people do it this way but we've been together for almost 25 years so we will continue to do it how we've been doing it.

8:20 One time I was coming home and I could hear a landline phone message being left on my answering machine by a very annoying “friend” talking loudly, I could hear every word clearly outside the house as I stood on the sidewalk. It was horrifying. The window was open and her message was whiney about her hair (she tricked me into doing her hair for free as a barter but she was the worst client possible). I turned off the sound and probably moved the machine further away. It was so embarrassing to know that all my neighbors heard my phone messages, most were fine, but hers went on and on and she’d call back to leave more messages. I fired her as a hair client eventually. Relief!

Suspension of disbelief is the avoidance-often described as willing-of critical thinking and logic in understanding something that is unreal or impossible in reality, such as something in a work of speculative fiction, in order to believe it for the sake of enjoying its narrative. Maybe try that while watching instead of questioning every little detail. How can you even enjoy the show this way? Edit: Sorry, I was a bit ticked off with the 'Is she not checking the bank statements' comment because I noticed that Eric has the habit of questioning little things that do not matter to the story. When I watch an action movie I dont like it when people comment that the explosion is unrealistic or stuff like that.
