Breaking Bad is a tragedy and cautionary tale about how a man's desperation and pride can corrupt him and turn into a lust for power and substance. Walter White was a good man and went into the meth business because he was desperate for money and too prideful to accept help from others. Of course, as the show went on, he became more and more ruthless and cold. He remained a cold and ruthless killer even up to his death in the very place where he built his empire. The source of his greed. Walter White really did break bad, and it killed him. Heisenberg was the one who took his place. And it was Heisenberg who died in the neonazi meth lab. Walter died long before. In short, learn when to let go of your pride. It could spare you so much pain.

I think the actual reason Walter White wanted to cook wasn’t for the money. He used his family as an reasonable excuse to keep cooking. The cancer as fuel to drive him, motivate him and keep going. If we take a deeper look into his emotions. I think the real reason is because of how it fitted his mentality. He was a man that felt trapped by the norms of society and wanted to escape. He wanted to feel important, he didn’t want to wake up the same time everyday, go the same work everyday, meet the same persons everyday. This type of lifestyle forced him to compress his emotions. Its like Pandora’s box, he felt the temptation to open it. So he did it by joining the meth business. In the chaos unleashed he found pain but also freedom. There are many examples suggesting this in the show. For example when he sits in his car and roars after he blew up Tucos building. Or when he admitted that he liked it to Skyler in the last episode. There’s a very good and educational video by the YT channel called “Storytellers”. Where they use well-written movie and TV characters to explain the theory in human psychology of “The freedom we find in chaos and disaster” (Title of the video). Go check it out if you want to.

Let it sit for a while then tap the side to separate the clear upper layer and discard the bottom layer, the top layer is ether. Rinse and repeat until you get 1.5oz of ether, freeze if you can (Ether has a very strong pungent scent). **Ephedrine** Pure Ephedrine can be extracted from ephedra genus plants or just buy Ephedrine in medicated tablets as the only active ingredent. **Step 2** *Making the Methamphetamine Solution* **Do The Following** - Pour 1/8 of a teaspoon of lye crystal into ephedrine and agitate **DANGER** This gives off H2 gas, repeat until the mixture is cloudy, we're doing this so we can neutralize the HCL in the salt - Fill the clear bottle the rest of the way with ether, put on the lid and agitate for 8 minutes then let the mixture settle. - Remove the top layer and put into the third bottle, fill the third bottle with Muriatic Acid shake for 5 minutes and wait for it to settle. **GET RID OF ALL ETHER BEFORE PROCEEDING** - Evaporate Solution on meatloaf dish on low heat, watch out for splashing**Step 3** **Making the Methamphetamine** **Do the Following**: - Mix Red Phosphorus and Iodine to make Hydrochloric Acid, slowly mix them together in cold weather conditions to not make any unwanted reactions - Fill a 1000ml flask with 150g of Ephedrine, add the mixture from the previous step and attach a condenser to the flask and boiling it for about a day, add a equal amount of water for dilution - Filter the Red Phosphorus with the filters until the red in the solution turns gold meaning all Phosphorus is gone - Add lye to the solution, this will bring out the meth in a liquid free base on the top **Step 4** **Crystallizing** - Add about 200-300ml of Toluene, the color should now be a pale yellowish color, bubble dry HCL through extract. **You should be left with about 100g of Methamphetamine**
