Thank you so much! I watched this like ten times over and over and ended up scoring full marks on this section and also, on my whole MMI practice circuit! Thank you so much for what you do, God bless you. I hope I can thank you for all your help in person when I'm at Cambridge next year (hopefully)

This is so helpful thank you so much! I'm usually empathetic but beat around the bush when breaking bad news. This has shown me a really great balance, thank you

Thanks for these tips, your mmi videos are actually so helpful, the roleplay station is one I'm scared about for mmi. Ive even come across scenarios like saying to a friend they're not invited to a party. Those seem so hard.

Thank you! You're right, these scenarios are hard and there are multiple ways you could approach them. It comes with practice I guess!

Hey Roshan great vid - just curious, if the patient says they only want to hear the partial picture but not full, how would you go about it? Thanks!
@RohanYesudian Жыл бұрын
thank you and great question! If the patient says that then it is best to be led by the patient and not say everything. Say the main thing (the scan report) and what needs to happen next, but then just give the patient space and chance to ask any questions

I am so inspired by your Faith as I am also a servant of God excited to specilise into neurology… here is a Bible verse that I think you will love when your working and studying… which motivates me especially when I go into Medicine … Colossians 3:23 Work as if you are working for the Lord rather than unto people

Why do we have to confirm the identity of the patient at the beginning by only saying “are you mister X” and that’s it? No ID?
@RohanYesudian Жыл бұрын
Good question. In real situations you would usually check the patient identity against their patient wristband if they were in hospital, or ask them to confirm their date of birth if it's just in a clinic. For the purposes of this scenario this is not necessary as its not the main skill being assessed. Hope this helps!
