It's not simply that Walter White was meek and quiet; he was someone with immense potential -- as demonstrated by his Nobel Prize nomination -- whose ambition and aspirations have been trampled by everyone and everything in life. His wife, his students, his brother-in-law -> who literally takes Walter's beer and dominates Walt's birthday party. So when Walter says he is awake -- jolted there by his cancer prognosis -- he is a changed man. Breaking Bad, like chemistry, is a story of change. Growth, then decay.

@@daltonio6001 Been watching BB reactions for a long time. In the beginning reactors watched an episode then uploaded and interacted with the comments. Discussing plots, characters and so on. I've seen the show and many reactions. I don't need to just watch someone react to it again.

They're pretty young (early 20s?). BB _ended_ over 10 years ago, they'd have been early to mid teens. I think it's fairly unsurprising that they haven't watched it. GOT is a bit more surprising given its huge popularity as recently as 5 years ago, but again it's not even unlikely that they wouldn't have seen it.

You can usually judge this by whether or not a reaction channel has reacted to the Lord of the rings on their channel. Soon they'll be reacting to Harry Potter I imagine.
