It still shocks me that the show wasn't that popular until the fourth season. According to RJ Mitte (Walter, Jr.), at the end of filming for the first three seasons, they would tell them to expect not to return, because the show would be cancelled.

Oh yeah. Need to mention a theme that you'll notice in Breaking Bad. Innocent people paying the price for Walt's choices. Sure there are bad people that might get effected, but it's the innocent people that viewers should focus on. Usually you just get a hint of it, but with Hugo you see the first innocent person face the consequences for Walt's decisions.

@theaikidoka4 күн бұрын
Sorry, not to nitpick, but do you mean 'two away from last?'. 'Ante' meaning before or prior, so antepenultimate wold be 'one before the one before the last one', right?
@bleepbloop62343 күн бұрын
@@theaikidoka Yes, that's correct. You can use "away from" to set the first member of the sequence to 0 instead of 1, but this is going to cause more confusion on average. The word "away" makes it more obvious, but if you google "counting from the last" you'll find a lot of debate about whether counting "from" a position means that that position is 0 or 1 in the sequence.

5:25 Stupidity: Stupidity is a lack of intelligence, understanding, reason, or wit, an inability to learn. So, if Jessie is CONSTANTLY making the wrong choices and not learning from them, that's pretty much the definition of stupid. I know you don't know much about Jessie yet, but let me say this much: he is definitely not intelligent.
@HSR1075 күн бұрын
This is the point in the series where I usually confirm for reactors that, yes, Jesse is a basically good and smart kid who just got mixed up in some bad stuff at a young age and it messed him up. Sadly that sort of thing has always happened far too often. Crystal meth is a salt. Salts can be swallowed, dissolved under the tongue, smoked, "snorted", dissolved into sterile water and injected, or taken rectally.
