Thing with Roman is he was simply a few years too late to arrive in the UK & was far too openly cosy with Putin. See what a lot of people don't understand is that Boehly wants to win but his goal was to keep Poch cause he saw a winner, but Clearlake as the majority owner did not wish to do that so in the end Todd had to do what Clearlake wanted or it was out as an owner. Who knows the team would have probably been better with Todd as the main man in charge but Egghead is the one calling shots.

I think this was always part of the plan, Im an accountant- they want to basically show the company has a healthy balance sheet and assets by signing young players on longer contracts for depreciation reasons.
