They were in a more pass happy conference in the pac12. The big 12 is more balanced. And you cant give any analysis a position coach defensive film since the defensive coordinater is resposible for calling defensive plays and coverages. The position coach trains/educates the players on the coverages/playes.

As a Texans fan, when the new staff came in everyone was like who the hell is Bobby Slowik??? A first time coordinator, first time play caller no one was really sure what to expect. But he showed that an analyst & specialist can soak up game and experience in a back up roll. & eventually break off and become a successful coordinator. I think Livingston will do just fine

The offenses we had to go against in the Pac 12, were better than what we will be going up against in the Big 12. The competition and schedule this year will be the easiest CU has had in 15 years. Utah is the only team that might stand in our way to become the Big 12 champion. This is my first time seeing your videos, and I have subscribed.

You break down film exquisitely as a former college player and current coach hell of a job. I love the scheme coach Livingston will possibly be bringing over because I teach my high school guys the same D and I like to rush 3 down lineman because of the surprise element of where the other rusher comes from I like to delay a second on third and longs. Ur take on woods being moved around I like that because he puts me in the mind set of a Myles jack as far as versatility on the defense. Woods is a good football player.

Yoooo, CT! I have been saying get a run game going since last year! And use Dylan Edwards, that's too much speed not being used for no reason. I need Dylan and Alton in a two back set, some weak side with the guard pulling, options and maybe some reversals. I know we got Shedeur but we would kill if CU becomes a balanced team because they will expect a pass because of Shedeur. However, of we keep them guessing that will be a different of 3 & long like last year Vs 2nd short....

@@BuffedInPrime I actually looked at the sacked highlights. Shedeur was an average of only 2 seconds. That's what I really gave Coach Prime a failing grade on, along with penalties and the lack of adjustments. The game where lost a 29 point lead (forgot the name of the team, too painful) was an example of that. We had too many holes and the run game to me was a close second to the O-line getting their ass beat and lunch money taken!

I would use Travis Hunter as a star sometime the same way Bama used Minkah, Hunter is so smart he would cause a lot of havoc. Let Cromani and McKinney play corner sometime.

Star is typically your best DB. I played star same year as minkah in the same defensive scheme. Problem is, Star is HEAVILY involved in run fits, and Travis body isn’t meant to be that involved currently. Especially when you factor him playing both sides of the ball

That’s my only issue is Travis body isn’t built for it but, on obvious passing downs I would move him around I hated when Eddie Jack got hurt and Bama had to use Minkah at safety and Brown had to guard Winfrew that cost Bama a chip. Hunter is as lethal as Sherman in zone type coverages.

I honestly didn’t watch too many big 12 offenses in depth last year, most I saw was WVU, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas’s (obviously utah and Arizona) the way we win or need to win is forcing teams to pass, I think pass defense will be our biggest strength so we have to be able to stop the run effectively

From what I’m seeing the Big 12 isn’t a pass happy conference anymore. Kansas state, Utah, Kansas, Oklahoma state, Texas tech are all running teams with elite RB’s

Oklahoma state is pass heavy, so will Arizona moving in. Kansas and k state are definitely run heavy. Texas tech is literally right down the middle. Definitely more teams running than before, think it’s more because of lack of qb talent. I watched a lot of Kansas last year and they were awful trying to throw
