@@BeyondExtent I do have one. After I finish my next portfolio environment I'll probably sign up for your patreon mentorship, but every time I check they are sold out. Is it possible to make something like a ''reservation'' to jump in as soon as you have a free slot? Thank you!

@@lhmsc That would be awesome and I would love to have you too, it's a little tricky to tell right now with the way we have set them up, but you can always join the community as we announce there openings there sooner then anywhere online :D

Hey, guys, I have a question about mentorships. Is there some sort of database or list of mentorship programs? I only know of one, The Mentor Coalition, which I've only heard good things about, but it is good to have options, I think, just to see what's out there!

Very good question Valerie V , I don't really know if there is a database like that, but that would be awesome if that exists! Here are some of the ones that we know: thementorcoalition.com/ (like you already mentioned) gumroad.com/ryan_benno www.artstation.com/kratos/profile (Ayi Sanchez) also does mentorships, but seems to be fully booked, but does mentioned to ping him for more information on his profile. www.thiagoklafke.com/mentorship/ And ofcourse our own mentorship by Timothy Dries www.patreon.com/BeyondExtent Hopefully this helps :D

Here's a ruthless comment, the thing about mentors, you don't choose them, they choose you. After one sees promise in you, he might consider helping you out, but remember there's no such thing as free in life, if you want to be mentored you have to be willing to also help your mentor in whatever way he asks, that's the unwritten rule for a millennia. I only just heard about the mentor coalition, I'll check it out but I feel that many of these services are just a personalized teaching program, not necessarily a mentorship. Get your work out there, get seen, expand your network, make meaningful connections, being a good artist is also about having good social intelligence, it'll take you far in your professional life. This is obviously just my opinion, wishing you the best of lucks. Mentors are a beautiful thing, always older, often ruthless, they can teach you things in a way and at a pace neither school nor self-learning can, you just need to make sure you deserve one.
