Thanks for the video, 5 years later :) I was given one of these which was broken in some way.. your video quickly showed me I'm missing those two bolts on the back side that hold it together...looks like their m6x50mm from experimenting with what I got lying around..I'll hit HD tomorrow for some new ones.

On mine, the castle nut was so hard. If it rusts, it may as well be welded on, lol. I didnt have any wd40, either, it was a struggle.

I have this exact same vise, i got from my great grandfather's shed. I have no clue how to clean those interior diameters, because they're grooved in. Like, i cant just stick a brush into it, maybe just a rust bath? But then how would i scrub it? Aaaaaaaaaaa

I have the same vise. Was given to me. I see I have a few pieces missing and the main shaft isn’t attached to the outer vise!😒

What did you use to sand it? I know it's an air gun but what buffer did you use?

I have this exact vice. An old friend gave it to me. Used to be in his shop a long time ago. It's in good shape. I just cleaned it up a little and put it to work.
