What are you most excited for in this roadmap?

I know this will seem low on the list but for me .. townsfolk. I have all these great buildings, a tavern, a farm, homes, and yet no people. Seeing folks walking around within my flame area would be huge for me.

Townsfolk hands down, the Glenwood project I have had in mind will definitely move forward when they arrive. Mountain biome is also very high on my list.

Да,и люди,которых можно было бы поселить в свои строения это ,конечно,супер.Это безусловно оживит локацию и ты не будешь чувствовать себя настолько одиноко ,играя соло.Но хотелось бы,чтобы эти люди не просто стояли на одном месте,а что-то делали,какие-то свои бытовые дела.Вот)

I hope their plans including disabling fogs inside buildings. I built a two story house and having fog on both floors at all hours of the day is soooo ugly. I didnt’y even bother furnishing it because I hated being inside with how unnappealing the fog made it

I've had random fog issues no matter how I built even in the starter area. Just one of my many problems with the way building has been implemented in the game. It makes me kinda sad as the system itself allows for an absolutely amazing amount of building flexibility, but it's all just aesthetics.

Amazing! The roadmap covers literally all the things I have been missing in Enshrouded, so far! Emotes, NPCs and Patrols to give meaning to our base builds, and water and hopefully brooks and streams to build by. Loving this :D

I’m gonna be playing this game for a long time lmao. This really reminds me of old timey RPGs like Kingdoms of Amalor where (with enough time) you can explore and collect everything and become all powerful lol love this. Also like the way you can respec so easily so it’s worth it to get every item/weapon and just switch playstyles at a whim. My only criticism is that the game can be easy at times. Hopefully the instanced dungeons can be treated as like raids in destiny. The hardest experience that you can farm over and over for weapons and materials to craft legendary gear.

i think the create and share game play thing is like, you can make your own quests and share them. Say, "search said location for treasure or slay the enemy at this camp maybe even reach the way point exploration type quests, and be able to set the reward for completing. That'd be my guess

the new mob looks like the benshee became a geenie. it also makes sence mountains would have water because they are covered in snow.

The game is amazing in so many ways! So the small changes and add ins is great! For me weather! Is huge make game seem more immersive and having shelters etc more cozy

Yes, I've had a lot of issues in combat where spamming attack will randomly pull up my equipped range weapon. It's gotten me killed quite a few times.

in their discord theres a community moderator that specifically stated that even if they are smaller updates done one at a time instead of massive updates like the hollow halls were, they are aiming for a relatively moderate sized update once per month, and the bigger ones every two months or so. obviously some of the content patches will overlap, but it'll be nice seeing a game being updated regularly instead of valheim every year or so with meaningful updates.

With the nature of randomized loot, instanced dungeons being random for every visit is really bringing in that "roguelike" genre for those who enjoy that kind of genre.

I find the static map really good. If they build on this and expand the lore to include more real cities and villages with interactable npcs and diffrent quest that are not only "fetchquests" then I can see Enshrouded becoming more like skyrim from the replayability

I hope they also integrate the possibility to BUILD ROUND and not only provide round windows and doors. i would also like to have the possibility to use the hazelnuts in a recipe and plant them.I would also like recipes for nettle. tea, healing, fabric etc. Generally more plantable things like carrots, fruit trees, herbs, dandelion and daisy (

I'm more excited over the aspect of water being introduced into the game than anything else, except the addition of weather and Townsfolk. Will water be static and not allow swimming, or allow for physics, like gravity and flow, and swimming? What happens when you tunnel under a body of water and accidentally break through the bottom of the body of water? Will you drown? Can swimming be improved through perks like how long we can hold our breath? Can I have a base at a higher elevation with a water source, and subsequently create a Roman aqueduct system to deliver the water to another base at a lower elevation using physics like gravity and water flow. I can't wait to see how they use this game mechanic.

I think maybe you should be able to choose whether you want to workshop to pull from all magic chests or just the magic chest that you assign to it. That way it wouldn’t just pull all your resources if you don’t want to.

I wonder if they are going to fix the obvious map exploration impediment added. Like one tiny access spot for an entire region not blocked by mountains or some trench the depth of Mariana lol

the workshops are what's getting updated. not the NPCs. so things like the hand spindle or the sawmill.

I think Enshrouded will coming more peaks on Steam if KEEN done all update for the game with high quality. This is a exquisited game that saving my brother and I which trap in electronic impotence which we are playing high strength FPS competitive matches in Valorant and Counter-Strike.The worst is we are baiting and arguing in game matches.Glad to it not hurts our relationship in real life but we haven't been having a laugh in game for a long time.Enshrouded save us and we also doing Self-cultivation in game. Now my brother already Ascedent II and going to strike in Immortal Rank and I also in Diamond III rank.The most important is we can also play well in valorant after we playing Enshrouded.❤ Hope KEEN continue update more stuffs in game.But please remove fog!😂

Has there been any talks on the possibility of procedurally generated maps at all? Love the current map but i would love to see an increase in playability. The instanced dungeons looks good though!

The map is a static one, it was a choice they purposefully made - hopefully we'll receive procedural generation for the dungeons

Well they did say the first update would be this month. The roadmap doesn't need exact dates and I often find that if they do give dates, they never keep to them. Lets wait to see what's included in the first update.

@@vadersnemesisIt is valid criticism - this isn't a roadmap, since there isn't a timeline (even an ambiguous one would suffice). It's more of a 'wishlist'.

@@technophobiakills4371 Roadmaps don't require a timeine. Most of the time when they do have dates they get pushed back and changed anyways. Though they do have an ambiguous one. At the bottom it says "Here is a glimpse at some other major features coming later THIS YEAR in our early access." Also, in their post they explain they are building the game from the ground up and just want to communicate what they are working on currently but some things may be harder than they anticipate. Which would make hard dates pointless. Edit: Hadn't finished the video yet. At the end they say there is an update coming this month even!

I'm not sure why people wanted water so much. In Valheim it made me want to punch myself in the face with the slow movement and transport of materials. It also is rough on older computers. I love the lore they created here, so I very happy with there being no water and wish they could even write in a search for it or more lore in that direction.

I am totally against raids, That is what made me hate grounded, Nothing more frustrating than to come back to the home you spent days working on to see it's destroyed yeah you could remove the raids from your game but you remove the ability to get achievements, So I hope they don't put that horrible idea of raids in the game, People that want raids need to add them to private servers so those that choose can have them, Not fair to force it on people for the few that want it.

Thats why I suggested raids only happen to be bases that would be built outside a flame alters range. That still gives people who don't want raids several outposts to build that are safe from raids
