The dark muscle just below the head is probably that deeply coloured because it's what the fish uses to move its fins. You see a similar phenomenon in poultry - the dark meat is the muscle that's been heavily used by the bird, which means it's more developed and has more blood vessels.

@@oleg6345 "the nice Japanese channels are probably full Japanese that u won’t be able to understand anyway" yea, what if I'm not bilingual? I'm not going to study a language just because I'm interested in the content creators who speak that language. I know less than Elementary grade Japanese, and I am most likely either younger than you, or have been in the Japanese community for a shorter period of time. also the input from Neon is perfectly fine as it is also what I think of the topic we've been arguing about over the past few weeks. If I cant understand what a person is saying, Its much harder for me to enjoy the content which is purely my opinion; I'm not assuming anything, there's obviously better Japanese channels out there, but this one peaks my interest specifically. Also take note what your saying is also biased, because not everyone may agree with your opinion as the comments replying to you may suggest. Your earlier comments drastically overemphasize what I say, so I'd say its safe to assume that you make a argument over every wholesome comment that is meant to basically say "I enjoy your content more than others within your community".

The skin and areas around it that are all fat could have multiple uses. You could render it all down into a form that can be used for cooking or adding flavor to soups. It would probably be good in some type of low and slow barbecue application where the fat would have time to break down. It would also possibly be good sliced into thin strips and fried until crispy.

Which country is it ? I've seen lots of videos where people keep eat every part of the animals - here we definitely don't (and they say France is famed for its cuisine, there's still so much of the animals we throw away that's crazy)
@pihermoso11
@pihermoso11 2 жыл бұрын
@@ink3539 everybody in south east asia loves fish heads, the eyeballs can only be rivaled by the fish belly, two of the best tastiest parts from the fish are definitely eyeballs and fish belly, its fatty and flavorful.. but there's a way to eat fish eyeballs cause there are 2 unedible parts there, 1st is the plastic ball (or cup) surrounding the eyeball, its is transparent and you don't eat that, next is the center part of the eyeball which is like a small bb pellet (or marble size if the fish is large), it is quite hard like a pearl, you don't eat that too.. most of america and europe miss out on fish heads cause they only use the fillet meats.. that's why we miss anthony bourdain cause he could eat like a true asian
