Breaking Down on the Road. Fixing Problems with our Van.

Our van breaks down on the way to Devon with turbo problems. We struggle to find a garage that can fix it for us and end up fixing it ourselves.
We learn a lot about how the turbo works and will be better prepared if it ever happens again.

With help from a good family friend Mark who is a mechanic, we also carry out a full service on the van. All new filters, oil and adjust the hand brake shoes.

Finally, we resolved that cold starting issue we had last year and found a shocking simple fix that Mercedes never checked.
Can’t believe a 2-minute test would have saved so much stress and damage to our van.
The van is all done now and ready for more adventures 😃
