I’m worried about the D. Trouba and Gus were completely exposed as well as Lindgren to some degree. These guys regularly get pinned in their zone. Plus Fox has to be hurt as his production has gone done dramatically since the Caps series. Forwards need to be back and think defense first while capitalizing on Panthers’ errors.

i think the way carolina plays caused them to not play well but let's see i trust in the Rangers and Peter Laviolette seems like they are different they have that fire in them

Lindgren had a great game 6. He was mean AF getting greasy and that assist on the game winner wss gorgeous.

@@minsookim13 Panthers forecheck well too and they are more physical. Trouba can’t move the puck at all even with a lot of room. Gus has been a turnover disaster in his zone. We shall see but I’d love to see Jones in there over Gus.

@@pingamalinga Yeah he wasn’t too bad but he did make some mistakes that led to their goals. He is another immobile player who typically doesn’t make good decisions when he has the puck. He made a really nice play for the game winner for sure but those plays are extremely rare for him. Usually he passes to no one.

Yes he is not perfect by any means but he is very strong and has a mean streak without being dirty that may play beneficial in this series along the boards and in the corners.

A healthy team...with Wheeler's leg injury, Chytil's concussions and Fox obviously re-injured his knee. To give NYR the goaltending edge over Bob who is a Vezina trophy finalist? To claim that NYR don't have a SINGLE weakness? None of these takes make any sense

not gonna lie, I think Rempe will be the x-factor, I think he can draw penalties from the aggressive Panthers if Lavs can keep him disciplined. Showed some maturity in the Caps series and the 3 games he played against Carolina. Pretty impressive thing is only 8 PIM, and a +1 overall in the 7 games he played. Didn't cost the Rangers goals against.

Panthers play up to each team. They knew Boston was physical and matched that. The Rangers are more speed and pass, Florida will match that as well. That’s what makes this team so difficult to play. And honestly, playing Vasi and Swayman first 2 rounds, Igor better watch his ass. The Cats shoot around 35 picks per game and will figure him out. Good luck Rangers fans, let’s have a great injury free series

I don't see the Panthers (or any road team) winning a game 7 at MSG; so if the Panthers are going to win this, I think they need to do it in 6.... which is a pretty tall order.

Plus the Rangers are so much better than the Bruins and Lightning that is the difference and I think the Rangers faced decent amount of adversity in the 2nd round vs Carolina not gonna lie, and I think Carolina's style of play is much harder for Rangers to get through compared to Panthers I got the Rangers in 6 or 7. I think to a certain degree the Panthers will be shocked at how fast the Rangers are to be honest. This team seems different this year. I really do think that.

@@willvisco6842 it actually doesn’t, SPORT! The point I’m making is about the Panthers playing no one. Both Boston and Tampa were good teams. Washington didn’t even deserve to be there. And your point falls flat because I had the Rangers beating the Carolina Hurricanes before the playoffs even started even as the odds on favorite, so SPORT, maybe sit this one out.
