*Sifu Singh is really good at breaking down the details! I wish all JKD teachers were like him. This move is really effective to follow up with a straight lead, in sparring too, not just in a street fight which is less likely to happen.*

That would be epic! Also a sparring match between the two. I'd also add Tommy Carruthers from Scotland as he's a very fast and effective JKD teacher.

Great video, dude… I love it, thank you. Fun fact, Jon Jones watched striking videos on KZbin like this and observed Bruce Lee…and was not even a genuine striker to begin with, just a top-notch wrestler, giving him advantage at the higher level, obviously…but it is just cool seeing him use these stop-hit techniques that Lee demonstrated…and make them work, but still you really don’t see fighter inspired by and showcasing it, because, unfortunately, MMA is a modern day go-to for “truth” like the styles that Lee preached against back in the day!!

True but guy is good teaching different types of things styles movements skill good to learn from a style here a style there and then confine them all I would l8ke to train with him do you bo where he is l9cated or how he can be reached?

The idea that Bruce was going for is to end the fight as soon as possible by stomping the knee and going through it just like in the pics Bruce made in the fighting method books. Not tapping the knee with a straight leg above the knee.

*Don't worry, it would work. Sifu Singh is very skilled and JKD is taking the best from most arts*

That's cuz it's not, it's Jeet Kun Do, it has elements of wing chun in it but it's not wing chun

You critics just don't get it. Sifu isn't talking about sport fighting. He is speaking about street fighting. Hello, street fights. Maybe if you've ever won a few of them, it would be easier for you to understand. 🙄

Why must he try to dress and act like Bruce Lee? Isn’t training enough? Why does he have to imitate him as a personality also?

@@hagninety4116 - He's a fan of Bruce Lee, he was even interviewed by Bruce's daughter, Shannon. There's nothing wrong with that, but yeah, most JKD practitioners dress similar. Bruce said that wearing belts is just to keep your pants up and doesn't prove anything!
