I love how you explain the eye jab. So few people understand how this actually works and how this can be translated into combat sports 🥊🥋

this concept works great with skilled or partially skilled fighters but without fluidity, this will not work with your brawler street fighter that doesn't understand self-preservation. The beauty of JKD concept is fluidity. It's not the system but the application of the person that makes something work.

Very impressive technique, Sir! IMO, I would only use the eye jab with contact if I felt my life was on the line. I was an instructor for a short while with Tracy's Kenpo back in the day when Joe Lewis was working for them, and we were taught several techniques from Lee using independent motion. Yes, with mastery, you can hit someone like a deer in the headlights.

Bruce practices on a towel and a shower curtain. I love the way Paul Vak used to throw it so I practice his method. It’s not so much a poke going into the eyes like a spear although it can be that I suppose it’s more like your hand is a towel and you’re flicking it like a towel.

It's a jab to the eye's not a gouge to the eye's. They're very different from another. An eye jab is more of a quick poke in the eyes with multiple fingers than gouging a person's eye's out. (So make your finger jab scratch the cornea's eyeball.)

@jimmybob1 not that I need to prove anything to you, but I have trained in martial arts for many years and, while I never did the competition circuit, I've had a lot of sparing matches with skilled fighters. Furthermore, saying this video is bullshido is along the same lines of saying Bruce Lee was full of shit as he is literally teaching the same techniques as Bruce Lee 😂🤣

It's already happened many times in the UFC octagon. What usually happens after is that the fighter that got poked cries like a baby while the ref fans him until he's ready to go again 😂😂. The fighter that did the poking (usually by accident) is then given a warning 😂

You view mma as a real fight? Lol hysterical this generation. Generation off dudes who never been in street fights lol. Mma guys will die in a street fight. Its nothing like a MMA sporting situation. Nothing. I trained martial arts almost 40 years. Did security and bouncing and grew up in the hood. Let me tell you son mma is a joke a sport compared to a street fight. Literally not even close to the same.you should just hush little boy. You show your ignorance with your keyboard and fingers.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqPLh6xvnK2jhLM I would say that this is definitely a fight ender Just found your channel and im very impressed and its not often i say that . . . . great to see wing chun concepts being delivered with such impact. (yeah I do wing chun) Regarding the breath i used to surf and hold my breath whilst trying to stand up. im now a mountain biker and im still holding my breath doing jumps etc . . . so i can definitely attest to the fact that holding your breath is a very bad idea . . . i now run a dialogue or sing whilst mountain biking simply to let myself breathe . . . . im guessing during an altercation something would have to do to check that your breathing properly

PRIME MUHAMMAD ALI PULLS HIS HEAD BACK IN A BLINK OF AN EYE, THEN THROWS DEADLY KNOCKOUT PUNCHES; THE REAL EVIDENCE IS THERE IN UNREHEARSED OR STAGED SCRIPTED DEMONSTRATIONS LIKE THE CRAP THAT IS POSTED IN THIS CLIP. THIS GUY DOING THIS SILLY DEMONSTRATIONS WOULD NEVER TRY THIS CRAP AGAINST MIKE TYSON, EVEN OLD MIKE TYSON.
