As soon as you said "I'm watching this b4 class" I was like nooo she has no idea what's in store😭 This song makes me feel all the emotions. On the release date I watched this mv premiere and then listened through the entire EP; I had my stuffed animal for comfort, who was given to me by a relative who died relatively young of an OD. As soon as Lifeline started playing for the second time I looked down at my stuffed animal and burst into tears. This song is about how powerful a mother's love can be and it can save someone from death, but reality is he was extremely lucky and not everyone can survive even if their parents love them, which is so f-ing sad to think about. And also the bridge breaks my heart- I hate the idea of him thinking he's not what she planned for. I really hope his relationship w/ his family is working towards healing.
