Dylan isn't a 5 star RB from High School. He doesn't have the foot work to run between the tackles or in the trenches. In the open field when he s one on one he is not beating the linebacker. Let me be clear. When they give him a short pass, and screens, he IS NOT BEATING THE LINEBACKER. I can see that if it was a corner, but these are linebacker. He s not beating the.. Dylan is a 4.3 40yd dash guy. He has open field speed. But for someone his size I question his BALANCE, AND FEET WORK, which is critical to have at that position. As critical as the backpeddle for defensive backs.

Basically, what he said after transferring is he got home sick. The players he hung out with at Colorado transferred out, leaving him a bit alone. Avery Johnson was one of his good friends from the Wichita area, and he knew he would thrive both on and off the field at K-State. Being closer to home and having close friends was a higher priority than what scheme fit him best.

This is his home this is where his dad played, he and the qb grew up playing together. He was originally supposed to go to Kstate he only went to Colorado cause of his and his dad’s relationship with coach prime. This is a new coordinator and it’s just a matter of splitting time there is another very good back and he’s the change of pace back and third down back just a matter of time he is a sophomore. Most backs blossom jr. year.

He played on the same team as their Qb when he was younger. I guarantee that his role will continue to be amped up as Big XII play continues. Every player wants to get to the league, however, its always team first over individual accolades. Hes going to be a major factor in KSUs success as the season progresses. Colorado has a huge weakness defensively when it comes to covering rbs, I guarantee that D Edwards will have a big impact in the Cu game. The lbs for Cu are great against the run but are too slow when it comes to covering rbs out of the backfield.

Love the new INTRO as well as your overall delivery! Thanks for keeping your supporters informed! Dylan allowed his ego to receive bad advice and leave CU Buffs Football program prematurely. He should not have left prior to going to the NFL. That was the move to make: leaving through the transfer portal. And I agree 💯% with you in saying that Dylan is being used. Someone got paid to rip Dylan away from the guidance of Coach Prime in order to hurt Coach Prime. Dylan is an unfortunate casualty of an unseen/unknown tribe of detestable haters and distractors of all things CU Buffs Football via Coach Prime and his true/loyal supporters! I saw the first half of the game, OSU did not look good. Busted coverage that allowed or I think the guy slipped that allowed Bryce to score. DJ looked good, and AJ looked good besides that bad throw he did in the first quarter. Edward did have a nice catch and scant for 9 yards after running for three the previous play. With that said, different game, Will Sheppard caught a TD! OMG, finally did something I'm sure was manufactured to take the heat off that drop. Also, Micah Welsch needs to be starter at RB, he has looked the best out of all the RBs. Glad Kareem Harden got the start at RG, I was pulling for him as Benson proved ineffective at RG and RT. I still think Mayer is getting the short end of the stick, but sacks allowed so far against UCF.

Man imo, Dylan Edwards is not a special back. There are tons of 5'8 or 5'9 backs that can do what he does. And he has to realize that. K state or any other school will bring a guy in like him, with no guarantees to create competition in the room and the best guy hopefully wins. You either step up or step out at that point. Nothing is given to you at this level and his replacement is already on the way in the next recruiting cycle or two. It's a harsh reality man but if you aren't a special type of guy, your worth is minimum unless you do something special... Should've stayed in Boulder and kept working. #MIZ!

I don't really see why he left Colorado he at least could have been a bit more patient in Colorado because it seems he was used a lot more in Colorado than he is at Kansas state and they had packages for him at Colorado. He's definitely not getting more carries than the running back they have now at Kansas state he is no joke,
