Breaking Ground, Another Stone Wall, Old Photos, and more

We finally break ground and pour the foundation for the new barn.
Also in this episode are
the construction of the new stone wall along the road frontage where we dug out the yard -- moving it back,
the building of a fire pit,
putting in drainage around the foundation of the new barn,
redoing our driveway by pulling up a slanted strip of asphalt and grading it lower,
-and the riveting search to find the septic tank for the stone house.

We had an 80-year old visitor who come by and let us know that she is the granddaughter of the couple who lived in our stone house from the 1920s. to the 1960s. Of course I showed her around the property. As she remembered her childhood visits she was almost in tears. Plus she sent us old photos taken at the house. They are shared in this video.
