Christian Picciolini was a vulnerable 14-year old when approached by a leader of a neo-Nazi group in Chicago. Christian fell in with the group and remained for eight years, becoming a leader in the white supremacist skinhead movement.
Today, Picciolini is free of his white supremacist background; he is a leading de-radicalizer of those who remain within its lure. In this timely conversation with Marianne, Picciolini details his descent into hate, how he ultimately escaped, and how he's using his experience and knowledge to free others.

Hi Marianne. My mother is in the hospital tonight. She’s been battling cancer (on and off) for the last 5 yrs. and just recently tested positive for covid-19. If you or anyone here prays, please find it in your heart to pray for my mother, Lucille tonight. We need a miracle.🙏🏽❤️ Thank you.

Thank you Marianne Williamson and Christian Picciolini! To go along with Picciolini's book and this podcast, I recommend the book: Not by the Sword: How a Cantor and His Family Transformed a Klansman - by Kathryn Watterson.

Mahatma Ghandi told his followers that the English were not the "enemy" as they broke from their oppression; he said the real "enemy" is in every single one of us--that we all have the potential to have disdain for some "other" to oppress and that each of us needs to self-regulate.

Faith should be a 'personal matter.' The best way to have your faith represented is 'at home' and 'in church.' The Trumpian Brand of Christianity is non-inclusive and the only time their rights are purportedly infringed upon is when they can't 'Discriminate others in the name of their faith.'

On student loan, debt cancellation: (A) Be sure to highlight what entity holds that debt. Our fed gov holds the bulk of the student debt obligations on its balance sheets. (B) What/who is the source of the US$$? The fed gov holds a simple monopoly on the creation of the US$$ as per Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution. Hence, our fed gov, the sovereign fiat currency issuer of the US$$, can vote on legislation to write off all student loans held on its balance sheets with simple key strokes at the computer. This debt cancellation, debt jubilee will not fall on future generations to repay. The simple operational reality of the US Dollar is that the fed gov first must spend, and then it taxes a portion of that money back out of the system. We have been taught and conditioned that our fed gov has to tax its citizens (the tax payers) before it has money to spend. That is operationally false. Our lack of understanding about where our US$$ comes from is asphyxiating our capacity to work for the public good. We need to educate the public on its public money, where the public money is born, and what the realities of where and how this public resource can be used to improve the well being of all of our citizens.

I don’t think its in the DNA .. that itself .. puts you in a position of superiority. It’s the belief system, ancestral and current trauma, and education level.

Im sure we can round them up and put them into cattle cars and then ship them to a secure location until we can come up with a "final solution"to this problem. We just cant have this problem of having those whom might differ from our politics, right Marianne?

I have a great idea. Why don't we have a way of marking them so they can easily be identified. Maybe a yellow star pinned on their shirt, or a tattooed number on their wrist, arm, or hand. Just a thought.
