@@chrisstephens6194 if that doesn't work try taking the carburettor off and giving it a good clean it's still the same try tweaking with the air fuel mixture screw

@@jcdl8083 Funbikes sent a new gasket to cure the leak. Fiddled with the carb and now it starts first kick hot or cold and ticks over sweet.

Would you recommend this bike to someone who’s new to riding (ridden before but not as much as I’d like to) can switch gears on time but not sure what to get on a budget of around £1000

Yeah it's a really good budget bike well built engine its bulletproof and cheap as chips for parts. Good for beginners.

Not that I know of I've got the same thing just had a new top end and got the timing wrong only thing I can say is search in KZbin but change the setting to this month's if you get what I mean

Yes to be safe change the oil straight away buddy then run the bike for 5-minutes then let it cool down then run it for another 10 to 20 minutes let it get to operating temperature then let it cool down then just take it for a steady ride 👍🏼

Out of the box I let it idle for 5 minutes change the oil ride it up and down going through the gears for 5 minutes then let it get to operating temperature change the oil then ride it as normal I've never had no problems with it just make sure you change the oil
