I think KD and Kyrie planned this all along. My theory is that Kyrie was really going to opt out and take the 6 million from the lakers but KD told him to opt in cause he was planning to ask for a trade. Kyrie gets his money and now will most likely get traded before the season starts. First I have to say, this is EXACTLY why the Nets knew that Kyrie's bluff about keeping KD was just that a bluff so when he decided to opt in KD is like kick rocks. Second, I think this is the self awareness from KD that I've been saying he should have. It's okay to not be a leader and want to just play ball however that also means you have to have someone on the team that is a leader. Miami has that at every level from team president, to coach to players on the court. The Suns have a leader as a coach & on the court with Paul. Third, I don't care what sport it is, there are just some teams that can NEVER figure it out & others that ALWAYS find a way to figure it out. Then Nets are just one of those teams that just can't get right no matter who they have on their team. They have had several great players on the team yet they can never get right. However if you ask me even though the Lakers don't look right at the moment, they ALWAYS figure it out.
