How old does storm appear to be in X-Men 97? Definitely not in her 20's just like Janelle doesn't look almost 40. We're acting like Storm is young in any iterations of her that we've seen in animation. Hugh pulled off Wolverine can we chill with them not being doppelgangers. Only Professor X, Wolverine really looked like their characters. Mystique was naked, Magneto was old as hell not jacked like he is every time we see him, Anna paquin looked nothing like Rogue, I mean c'mon.

Can we all just look this thing squarely in the eye for two seconds? Coogler is rumored to be directing the new X-Men movie, and now Janelle Monae is rumored to be playing Storm...am I the only one who sees it in the tea leaves how we are headed into a season of X-Men characters in solo projects? How else could they possibly get it right with this much anticipation for specific characters? Look at what we put Jackman's Wolverine through before we finally realized what a proper gritty X-Men film even was, a focus on just three characters, and very little actual super hero type of action was needed.

He'll be recast and will have to grow up again, but it opens up ALL New stories with so much potential! Well...
