2 years wait between seasons is far too long for an animated project where episodes last like 20 minutes each with the opening and credits excluded. Just hire double the number of animators and get the project out mid 2025 the latest, if Marvel can throw money on stuff like Agatha surely they have the budget to speed things up on Xmen which should be one of their biggest priorities based on how well it was received.

This came right after a gay pride post by Demayo in an x-men costume and other posts concerning the queer community. I do not know the terms of his contract but you know if was not a queer post it would not be an issue. They also did not agree with his approach to the story so they were looking for a reason. Disney has been cited numerous time for suppressing queer character in their content. You cannot like season one of 97 and say Demayo did a bad job.

Thats not the point this 97 series is a continuation of a already pre-existing 92 series..in general thats why i dont like reboots ...continuations etc...because it never follows the original series this 97 series didn't feel connected to the original the tone was darker they killed off characters like Gambit...This could've been a stand alone Xmen series and done fine without needing to piggyback off the hype and success of the original series. Plenty of source material to pick from .

IMHO, as cool as it would be to see the Onslaught storyline on X-Men '97, the conclusion of the Onslaught storyline is too good to not do live action. Do you want to top the portal scene in End Game? The end of "Marvel Onslaught" is one of the few that could do it.

As stated in the video, writers that respect the source material (Marvel comics and not the MCU) can most likely re-create or adapt some good work apart from DeMayo. I just wish Disney would grant 15 to 29 episodes a season to fully flesh out the stories (15 episides where 13 are core story and 2 holiday specials for Halloween and Christmas or 26 core story episodes and 3 specials Halloween, Christmas, and One-off.). X-Men 97 push three stories in an episode and a half... That wasn't necessary. We need more of a good thing, especially if we're waiting almost 2 years in the production time.

While I am looking forward to Onslaught being adapted, i could totally see that being saved for a series finale. This whole Beau Demayo thing is a shame, but as you say, there are plenty of talented people out there to pick up the ball and run with it. As long as the flavor remains true to the original series and the dialog maintains the maturity of season 1 (of '97), i think it will work out just fine. I am looking forward to some things from the New X-MEN era being adapted.

Although I enjoyed season 1, the pacing seemed incredibly rushed. It felt like I was watching an X-Men's Greatest Hits rather than a cohesive story. Any one of those episodes could have been a complete season if expanded on. Hopefully Marvel Studios can take the time and focus on improving pacing.

The voice actors? They have nothing to do with the writing and as far as Deadpool goes, he already cameo in the X-Men The Animated Series during the Phoenix saga with Wolverine (but it was brief)
