Norman Osborn, as opposed to the Green Goblin, would make a superb Big Bad not just for Spider-Man but the whole MCU. Dark Reign could be a Phase all on it's own, with Osborn taking on the identity of Iron Patriot and running the Dark Avengers.

Agree is also the best deal they can do with sony now. Have them come toghter with hardys venom(after secret wars) so sony get there tom vs tom and also get ready for sinmister 6 that they want to do and mabye king inn black later. if they do something with spiderman for secret war, i hope we get a movie or 2 with the Sony Venom symbiote, maybe change things up and instead of an eddy brock, when spiderman rejects the symbiote, he becomes agent venom and is kind of the Vegeta to Peter's Goku, if that makes sense, so we can keep the venom symbiote in the MCU given they say Last dance will be Sony last Venom movie, but this is a way for marvel to have the character of Venom. without setting alot of stuff up while maybe if this is a trilogy, have Spiderman normal in the first movie, have him in the blacksuit and the final movie, have Spiderman, Agent Venom, and Miles be the big team before spiderman retires and miles/ agent venom becomes the MCU spider people, they could even use venom as a way to go cosmic and have him team up with the new guardians of the galaxy

Yes, I feel it's best to focus on bringing Spiderman villains to the screen we have not seen so far, amid the many many years time gap to old grounds i.e. Tobey's/Andrew's villains. Marvel Studios have brought about many Spiderman villains we had not seen before, and I look forward to them taking the opportunity to, in this trilogy i.e. Spiderman 4, for now.

The MCU can still have its own Norman Osborn despite the events of No Way Home. After appearing on Earth-616, Dafoe's Osborn discovered that his company, Oscorp didn't exist in this reality and was evidently unable to locate a variant of himself or of his son. However, the mere lack of Oscorp as a company in the MCU does not disallow the franchise to introduce its own version of Norman Osborn in future films. Norman never confirmed that he didn't exist on Earth-616, but only that he could not find Oscorp. In reality, Norman Osborn may already be alive and active in the MCU.

Actually we have. Twice in the raimi films (Spider-Man Norman Osborn goblin and Spider-Man 3 Harry Osborn) then in TASM 2 we got Harry Osborn goblin. Recently with no way home, he had the return of William Dafoes take on the green goblin from Spider-Man like I said.

If Green Goblin is going to be a MCU villian, then how will MCU get around the last spiderman movie saying that there is no Norman in the MCU - verse? The number one villain is Miles Morales. Because the moment he’s introduced the ticking time bomb on Spider-Man begins. He’ll either get killed off or be forced to share everything with Miles until he goes into early retirement. Either way. Miles = Spider-Man’s story ending early.

Obviously, we’re not gonna keep seeing movies until he’s in his 70s so the movies need to simply end. He needs to swing off into the sunset letting the viewer know that he has found balance between his life and being a superhero. Getting married and having kids, but never giving up being Spider-Man . Never giving up his code. For Spider-Man to remain in character, he can’t look the other way until his final breath . But he’s super Human so that final breath shouldn’t be until he’s a very old man. Anything else is writing him out of character just to include Miles Morales . Because they never include miles as a simple additional character . He is introduced to be addition by subtraction . He is introduced to replace Spider-Man And people don’t want to see that The majority anyway

If that’s the case, then they have to replace miles too. No one ever talks about this but the actor for Miles would get too old too. So I’m saying why don’t we just conclude the MCU with a nice wrapped up story. One where Spider-Man is still active as Spider-Man. Just give him the happy ending of finally getting married and starting a family as well. We don’t have to see him retire or die for the story to end. What I think could possibly happen is what they did with the '94 cartoon where the hobgoblin comes before the green goblin. I say this cause we have ned leeds in the MCU. They made a joke about him possibly (Not really) becoming a villain and attacking Spider-Man/Peter Parker. So if they were wanting to add the green goblin for a later time in the MCU. They could set up hobgoblin while norman osborn is in the back ground doing things* till his debut in his MCU look versus the Raimi William Dafoe. *Edit: He could buy out or something what was stark industries and we're told that it was bought out (but not say the name) so they can build out a "Dark Reign" phase in the MCU like @tygerskull said here in the comments already. (I'm just adding onto what they said with my own ideas)

At this point just reboot it with a new actor, give us the proper Peter/Harry relationship and an age appropriate Norman. If you do it now it could be an alternate universe Peter that ends up in the 616 universe with the symbiote by the time we get to Secret Wars. The first film could be high school through early college. We don't need to drag it out, and tbh, it'd just be simpler. The truth is Spiderman's main villain is the Green Goblin, and he's never been done justice on film. We need to see the actual green Green Goblin.

True. I feel the closet goblin that we had was Raimis (he's not a power ranger. It's military battle armor). And at the same time, Peter doesn't meet Harry till college so they could set up Harry now to be Peters best friend, ned regains his memory and gets pissed off and becomes hobgoblin or something (Yes to becoming hobgoblin, idk other ways to do it for now).
