I'll be honest. Profile of player, outstanding. Not sure if he should be captain though. Maybe on the pitch, delivering messages from back to front, but around the training ground, I would have Bowen and Max work in collaboration. So you get a blend of the past era and the new era. Bowen understands the dynamic of the group.

I’m pleased we’ve signed him,and we’ve not spent all summer getting him?Is this a sign of things to come,previously Moyes would spend 6 weeks trying to get a player fail and all the lost is a double fail.Tim if supported by Sullivan and working with Julen,we can already see deals will be done inside two weeks or move on.Sloth is spot on Prem league players sold to Prem league teams carry a tax,prem league tax probably 20% inflation?Ive seen him play at the London Stadium and he is a quality defender,last season we targeted Dawson and not Kilman and got our joy there not through Max.I really think next target has to be a striker,Jonathan David for me especially at €20 mill a no brainer for me. If Aguerd leaves then we need another CB on the left (unless Luisao is stepping up) like Greaves. We do also need an upgrade on the right like Todibo or Perez as I dont see Mavarapanos as a 1st choice CB.

Certainly going to need at least one more CB. I would like to see Greaves or KWP come in. I think Mavropanos is going to be better under Lopetegui and in a less pressurised defence. I think Kilman is going to be good for us. Kilman knows what Lopetegui wants from him, which will help settle the team into the new system of play more quickly too. Yes, the fee is high, but there are several reasons why, and I like Maidenhead getting a decent payout, even if it isn't what they deserve. CBs can hold on to a longer career, injuries permitting, Pepe being an extreme example. So, we might not lose out as much financially later on.

There's been a few (ok alot) of videos on individual strikers, but now as our focus apparently switches to that position I wonder whether a Top 5 likely targets are listed rather than ones we'd like? Hard to know who obviously, but the type of attributes are well recognised I think... 🤔
