@trevorjameson3213Ай бұрын
Looks really cool and could be fun but the rate of fire on full auto is way too high, while the "magazine" capacity is way too low. Constantly having to shake it full again doesn't seem fun, and running through CO2 so fast isn't fun either. Maybe on semi-auto it's fine though. Have you tried the Crosman/Panther Arms SDMR SBR AR-15 full auto BB gun?
@mrhalfstepАй бұрын
Nibs, I don't think that you're getting a full fill on the magazine tube sometimes. I think that the hole that allows the BBs to pass from the reservoir to the mag is down towards the trigger area. When you pull out the loading rod (?) you are probably opening the hole and retracting a spring of some sort inside the mag tube. If I heard you read the directions correctly, I think they said to face the reservoir loading gate upwards and shake the gun HORIZONTALLY. You finally got that loading gate oriented correctly, but you are still holding the gun on a diagonal rather that horizontal. I think that is leaving the BBs bunched up and blocking the loading hole to the magazine, especially right after you fill the reservoir, and making it hard for the BBs to drop down the hole. You may even be allowing some of the BBs that do make it into the magazine to roll back into the reservoir. When you shake the gun violently it is probably throwing the BBs away from the hole and relieving the log jam, but if you don't shake hard enough they stay bunched up and you don't get a full load. With the gun laying horizontal you shouldn't get the jam at the gate and be able to get a full load with a gentler forward and back motion. The BBs that fall into the mag will also stay in there. Pushing the rod back in would then close the gate and apply the spring pressure to move the BBs into battery. I don't have one of these (YET!!), so this is just speculation on my part, but I've seen other BB guns that suffer this way. Thanks for the video, but I need another airgun like I need a hole in my head! LOL
@trevorjameson3213Ай бұрын
I wonder how many BB's the magazine tube holds. Because at that high rate of fire, 12 or 15 rounds is gone in a flash, no fun. Seems like a better option is the Panther Arms SDMR AR-15 BB gun. It does full auto too, but the mag holds 25 BB's and you can see when it's full, and, it's rate of fire is a little slower, so you can do five 5 round bursts, pretty fun. Or just use semi-auto and practice tactical target acquisition, it's a blast!

I must say, I'm 43 years old, and I've just found a passion for the air guns in the last couple of months (I have a firearms license and a couple of 22's, but I find myself partial to the lower power and home-friendly air guns). So much fun! I came home after visiting my folks this winter (New Zealand) to an infestation of mice. This precipitated my breaking out the 15-year-old Crosman 1377 and undertaking some very strict marksmanship training to ensure I would be making clean, humane dispatchings of said house guests; if I was to get the opportunity. And man, what a world of wonderment that opened! The sheer diversity and pretty advanced technology has blown my mind! In a good way... After three months, I've got one mousey super-cleanly, and unleashed thousands of pellets in and around the house, hahahaha! Beer cans beware! Getting stupidly precise results out of the humble 1377 up to 10m with open sights, must say. Kudos to that. The Walmarts in my area are all woke now so the sporting goods sections don't carry this stuff anymore it's a shame

Haven't been in Walmart for at least 5 years since the snowflakes quit selling 9mm ammo. And 5.56 .

If it’s fully automatic, then it’s an M2 rather than M1. See Ian on forgotten weapons

It’s cool, to bad if doesn’t have a mag to complete the look, be a cheap alternative for a prop gun

Sadly Crosman has recently sold out to the same foreign entities that bought Daisy. They are locafed in Arkansas. As a result the Crosman factory is no more. All those American factory workers lost their jobs. All that quality history closed. Sad.

Just wondering, have you heard anything about that rumor of Daisy taking over Crosman? Could this new rifle be a product of the venture? BTW, I missed if you said how much it cost? Russ

Is it smooth bore? How does the accuracy compare to the Daisy Model 74 and the other 12g Co2 BB repeaters?
@WalnutandSteelАй бұрын
I believe it is smooth bore. I have not had a chance to test it for accuracy too much yet.
