I was always against EA's ways to sell Sims games with so many and so expensive dlc's. I'm not suprised they did this

it sounds like they're trying to sneak in their mobile sims monetization model into the sims 4 and i'm so not here for it, The Sims Mobile and Sims Freeplay have atrocious monetization models

When the shady starts kicking in 👀 Oofs, despite certain games being free, there will usually be micro transactions that'll take place for a quick grab. Sucks when it happens, & tends to ruin the gaming experience a bit. Not sure how far it'll go, hopefully changes can be made. Danke for sharing, Keep It Up 😎 👊

Hey, a long while back I remember seeing a tutorial style video on how you used to make your animations for jack and the game grumps, I can't find it anywhere now and I was wondering what happened to it? I really liked it and thought it was cool to see the behind the scenes of how some of those animations or characters where made, and so recently I've been wanting to go back to watch it.

i always found it fascinating they never released a sims 2 collection. that shit would SELL. add a few bug fixes and some extra 1 off content cuz its all 2000s aesthetic but NO multiplayer or sign in crap... that would be the dream...

Micro transactions are usually temporary money tho and not long term(especially when your reputation tanks intensely) But it is extremely tragic yeah, especially when they ruin and break games to cram it in

Genshin still has daily login stuff and plenty of pay stuff so idk what's actually going on with that whole ban thing. I play my gacha's free but if that ban got passed apparently Hoyo is still finding ways around it?

To be fair, you don't have to go into the store at all. You literally just boot the game to the main menu screen and it pops up with the freebie, you close the window, and then close the game. It definitely has the intention of making you look at the store, but you don't have to go into the store or boot the actual game. I definitely do think they should offer them just as free updates, like they have been doing, or have them at least return again. Having to log in three separate days in a week is rough, especially if you didn't find out about it right away.

The main reason I don’t play FFXIV and mmos similar is the fact I have to pay for the game, pay for dlc content, AND pay for a subscription is ridiculous. It’s a plethora of money being spent on a game that I don’t even know if I want to sink a lot of my time into (despite it having a free trial- I still don’t know if it’s worth it.)

Yeah, I agree, I'm always super apprehensive when games are HUGE and cost a BUNCH of money to get fully into... It becomes such a massive investment, not just in money but in time, I don't know if I have hundreds of hours of time for ONE specific game...It's a shame when the barrier to entry is so big :/
