I once reported illegal activity at my workplace to the FBI after consulting with various federal agencies, upon doing so my employer was given the information l provided to the FBI. The FBI told my employer to investigate the allegations which led to my firing and the elimination of my department. I decided to sue my employer and they finally settled 10 years later. Congress has the ability to hire outside investigators, people with no dog in the race, to do a proper, non biased investigation, with the end result being that true and factual information be transmitted to our congressional committee. If we continue to allow these institutions to police themselves? Well, they will always say they did their job to the best of their abilities. If that was the best of their abilities, we need to start over fresh and give a thorough housecleaning to that group. I am not sure if they are involved, incompetent, or both. If I were to go to court and give a judge vague, non responsive answers I would be found guilty of contempt of court, I would be found guilty of whatever I had been charged with, because in court, if you do not completely deny each and every charge made against you, guess what? You just admitted your guilt and you go bye bye for many years. To think that these guys, who know these kinds of details and use them every day to prosecute other people, and still they refuse to give answers? They are thumbing their noses at Congress and in effect telling we, the people, to go f--k ourselves.

I think the military should be doing the independent investigation. They should also test the current SS agents for fitness to do their jobs. I don't care if you are riding a desk, if you can't pass the fitness requirements you are out. And no male/female standards. Everyone does the same job, so same standards. They also should be tested for political biases and fired if they have any in either direction. Your only loyalty in the SS should be to the country you serve, not to a political party.
