If John Deere moves to Mexico our farm as we did with there wing mower will never buy another tractor combine or planter with the John Deere name . We have over 3 million dollars in John Deere equipment. I am a person of principle and can call my local case dealer for my next piece of equipment.

John Deere has been building machinery overseas since the 1960s and that isn't a problem, they sell a lot of machinery overseas so it makes sense to build it there, the problem is them laying off Americans and moving jobs south of the border while they are recording record profits and the CEO pockets millions. I could understand layoffs if they were losing money but they are not, they are raking in BILLIONS, this is quite simply CORPORATE GREED! The CEO and the entire board of directors NEED TO GO!

I hope this greedy company closes for good. Funny but their new X9 combine new is over $110,000 yet with only 200 hours selling as used they can't get $500,000. $600,000 depreciation for 200 hours of use tells me they are either waay overpriced to begin with,or competitors are now making better equiupment causing the extreme cut in selling price. $2000 per hour of depreciation tells it all. Move out,stay out for good.

When you pull the stunt of "You own the equipment, but we own the software" is coming back to haunt them. This company is run by accountants, not farmers. Sorry when you have a minor issue that requires ONLY John Deere to rectify the issue, causing down time during harvest or planting which both have a narrow window to do. Problems are becoming the norm in Industry, you have management that hasn't the foggiest clue of what the product is and how it is employed, often coupled with absolutely no clue on how the manufacturing process is accomplished. They are only experts, often in their eyes only, as superlative managers that cannot be replaced. Have dealt with this insanity for decades, and watch some companies rectify these problems and go forward with massive profits while the others manage themselves into oblivion.
