Im glad Kraft did this so quickly. The man was lissed beyond belief that Mayo actually won the ONLY game they were supposed to lose. Mayo pissed away the 1st overall pick. This is the ONE time Kraft did exactly what he was supposed to do.

not gonna say mayo was perfect but i think we all can agree that he was set to fail and used as a scapegoat. did the team get worse? yes but at the same time wtf were we expecting with the worst roster in the nfl along with an inexperienced coach. this firing should be an indictment on kraft than mayo tbh. if kraft really wanted mayo thats fine. the problem was kraft didnt give him anything to work with either. yes the defense regressed but lets be fair we literally had no pash rush. yes we lost judon but you still had bentley you still had barmore you still had peppers. all four of those players are GONE as opposed to like what 2 last year? the game is won within the trenches and if you dont have anything in the trenches the system wont work. again if kraft wanted mayo fine but the least he could’ve done was give him some talent and more experienced coaches around him and maybe things wouldve been different. kraft set him up to fail theres no other way around it

You forget Elliot Wolfe and mayo did it to themselves butchering the defense the way they did if they don't try to strip the defense completely they win more games and they have more success if bill is bad at drafting then front office this year is God awful except for maye which was a layup pick the rest were flops top receivers are all bills guys all they play makers on defense that were good were bills guys so this proves drafting is hard and way too many people gave bill too much crap for drafting but two of 3 wrs that played and balled out were drafted by bill running back bill gonzo Jones were all bills picks kraft misstepped with getting rid of bill

Some ppl will get excited for this but I look at it from my perspective very problematic.. the Krafts will have a section of his Fanbase that’s not gonna look at him in good light cause this raw deal handed to Mayo.. They had low expectations for the year.. He wasn’t given any grace.. anybody that don’t see how the optics don’t look good clearly lives on the other side of the spectrum.. Most of the deflection is coming from ppl that has never shared the same lived experience in life so I don’t expect you all to understand where I’m coming from..
