I have a question about the 7th day rest? If the 7th day rest was established in Genesis. Then why are people trying to dispute if it is on the Luna solar calendar or some other calendar if the 7th day was established on the 7th day of creation? There was no calendar in Genesis. Genesis 2:2

The Jews could not select or purchase their lambs because Sat-rday would have been the Sabbath. Yahushua was crucified on the modern equivalent of Tu-sday, It is very easy to come to wrong conclusions when scripture is taken out of context. The purpose of this teaching is first to understand that the "HEART OF THE EARTH" does not mean THE TOMB. Yahushua gave the unbelieving Jewish 'sign seekers' the sign of Jonah as a PARABLE which they would not understand - He said "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth" (Mt 12:40) Note carefully that Yahushua gave them [the sign seeking, unbelieving JEWS] ‘the sign of Jonah” as a PARABLE because of their unbelieving hearts. However, to his disciples he made it plain - PRIVATELY !!! The duration of his death was both prophesied & confirmed by himself and others. The weight of evidence confirms that He rose on the 3rd day - not AFTER 3 days & 3 nights. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Hi The Hebrew word ECHAD IS A UNITY! In Genesis it says ‘ Let US make man in OUR image’! In theGospel of John Jesus says ‘ The Father and I are ONE ( ECHAD) THERE IS YOUR GODHEAD! =The FATHER AND THE SON!
