You got something wrong with Shiki. Oda said he had a plan for CANON Shiki already, but then ended up using him for the movie. Shiki wasn't created for the movie, he was already a character Oda was going to use later but then needed something for a movie and grabbed Shiki off the shelf. Secondly, canon movies will be bad for One Piece. Why? Because Oda's already struggling to keep up with weekly chapters, AND He's overseeing the live action. To be fair, the Chainsaw man movie is actually adapting a cannon volume, same with JJK 0 (even though its like 70% cannon). The One Piece movies are made up on the spot and completely disconnected from the story, theres no way any of them can be cannon...only some key characters. Also Oda said he wouldnt reveal Luffy's mom, not every new Black haired woman is a Luffy mom candidate lmaooo

The problem with movies being canon to the main story is that, it genuinely breaks the timeline and one-piece canon. One piece film red, for eg. shows jimbei being part of the crew and Luffy not having gear 5th, awakening it at the end, The same goes for Robin and Sanji with their respective new move sets, additionally, we see big mom alive at tottoland, these although are small instances, have a huge effect on the main story canon. If jimbei is part of the crew, with the whole crew in one place, it's after wano, but we dont have gear 5th yet, and big mom is not underground, but at tottoland, and at this point in time, Blackbeard must have attacked chocolat town and additionally niji and yonji escape whole cake, with the help of germa, so oven, katakuri and brulee will more likely be there at whole cake and not at elegia. Oda would have to make drastic changes to either the main story canon or the movie canon for it to fit in. Its great as its own standalone movie, referencing the anime, probably the next movie could properly connect to canon. Similar problems exist with film z, gold and stampede. Strong world probably has the most likeliness to fit into canon.

Toei can make a movie cannon if they wanted to aslong as they bring Oda to the team. Which can easily be explained by news not getting everywhere just yet. There's also Big Mom's appearance which tbf there is no confirmation at all that she is dead. Visually everything from Zoro having Enma, to Luffy having Gear 5 all fits with post Wano, which btw there's a 10 day period between the Straw Hats leaving Wano and getting to the shores of EggHead where it can easily take place. Also Film Red is the first instance of Black Transponder Snails in the series (they say SSG on the side and can transmit video and audio to every transponder snail in the world) which is only seen in the manga for the first time in chapter 1112. It's proximity to EggHead would explain why that transponder snail was able to wash up on the shores of Elegia. It all matches.

I did do research on the flower that Toritoma was named after, and the only fact I got so far was that it symbolizes good fortune, which is something that "her son" Luffy's known for bringing even before Gear 5th was a thing. This could be a decent clue on what Hancock's recent predecessor was like before she died.

Why i think Tritoma is Luffy's mom is If im remembering right boa became the empress at 18 years old so its 13 years ago and she was inslaved exactly when luffy was born so that's why she doesn't remember him and we see luffy the youngest we know him as a 7 year old kid and he 19 now so if luffy was with his mom until he was 6 and she still was the empress she was alive and then died so dragon took him to his hometown or Garp did idk, and we have kuma for some reason sent Luffy to Amazon Lily and kuma knows dragon very well he for sure knew Luffy's mom. So the timeline makes sense and kuma actions too and we have the theory of Nefertari D. Lily might have started the Amazon lily in the first place after the flood and was stuck there in the calm belt and her name also is of a flower. We know lily has a connection with joy boy And if she has a connection to Amazon lily and it might have been a failed love story. If that's true luffy is related to joy boy and lily and he is the son of their lineage. Also we can see all the empress attracted to great men like Gloriosa with whitebeard Shaky with Rayleigh Boa and Luffy and probably Tritoma with Dragon.

The way I look at the love sickness that plagues the women of Amazon Lily is that these women fall deeply in love, and the inability to be with, or at the very least spend time with the person they love, is what ends up killing them if they stay on Amazon Lily. If they leave and spend time with that person or, in Shakky’s case, marry them, they survive.
