Alabama's federal grants constituted 43.1% of the state's total revenue in 2022 alone..... Checks and balances won this time because important people were paying attention and reacted quickly, this helps red states greatly as they rely heavily on these funds and would have been devastating to the well-being of many American citizens, it's such an incompetent move by this admin... 4 more years and I don't even know what to think rn...

We just elected a man who has already been granted partial immunity by the Supreme Court from criminal prosecution for any “official acts” committed in office. He was able to successfully get his criminal cases postponed until after the election at which point he could potentially be able to pardon himself from some. He incited an insurrection when he didn’t win the last election that resulted in 6 deaths, and was still somehow able to run again. He has often made remarks admiring the “strength” of authoritarian figures. And he has literally said in one of his speeches that after this election “you won’t have to vote again, we’ll have it fixed so good you won’t have to vote again
