Comparing what Skip and Shannon have both been up to since parting ways, it can't be denied that Shannon has had more to write home about. I still maintain this though. If Skip had left Undisputed, and Shannon had remained on that exact same show, sittingin that exact same seat, reaching out to audiences in the exact same ways, we would not have seen the assention that we've seen from Shannon since leaving the show. The situation has to do with Skip himself, and Shannon himself, but a lot of this just has to do with Undisputed itself. Undisputed was a product that I enjoyed here and there over the years, but it ran its course, and speaking personally I felt that way even before |Shannon left.

Sorry to be morbid about this, but despite being in good shape for his age, Skip is in his 70's and is childless. Just based on the chatter I've seen in online spaces, the narrative certainly is that when Skip told Shannon that Brady was the far better player that that was some unfortivable act of disrespect that changed everything. Putting aside the fact that it is of course completely true that Brady was the greater football player, yes, that comment by skip seems a little unnecessary and didn''t add much to their conversation. But they spoke publicly multiple hours every week day for close to 7 years. Skip said some shyt abt how could the Cowboys players respect someone that is overweight and out of shape as a coach and Jenny felt that was very disrespectful (which it was). She said being overweight or out of shape has nothing to do with his coaching ability and tha, she has had similar coaches in her past and they turned out to be some of the greatest she ever had. The topics on the show were always limited, but Lebron was the center of the basketball world for years, and the Cowboys are the most commercially relevant NFL team, and Brady was the most relevant individual player for years. You could make a show that caters to people who are not so much interestedin sports broadly, and more interestedin those specific topics, because while limited, they're at least popular enough isues for even a niche audience to be robust. A lot of the Undisputed downfall is that Brady is gone, and while Lebron isn't technically retired, he isn't the center of the basketball world anymore. that's two thirds of the show's focuses. the people who had those particular interests aren't going to tune in for Caitlyn Clark talk.
