If we went on this philosophy then there wouldn't be no news because that's how this world works. People study to talk about topics that they have covered for decades. Now my issue is not every player that has played needs to talk either because of the lack of journalism skills it's more emotional talking than actual facts and that's what players say journalist don't have so which one is it cuz it can't be both.

Even if not the NBA, at least college. College, outside of D3, is pretty high-level, so if you lettered for 4 years you probably have reasonable knowledge of X and Os, along with perspective. But there is NO reason fat Windhorst should be saying ANYTHING about basketball other than the business side (like contracts)

The disrespect got out of hand and it was only a matter of time before Shannon had enough. The minute Shannon started bringing props and doing club shay shay I stopped tuning in to see skip. Instead of grooming Shannon and letting him take over the show he started resenting the hire and he sabotaged the show. Shannon needs to bring Night cap to prime time and do a real late night tv show for sports.

Podcasts are a throwback to Talk Radio, so the older folk get drawn in by the nostalgic feel of it. The young folk are drawn in because of the engagement through social media, so they get to feel like they can stay connected and they get to feel like their opinions are heard and matter. 🤔🎙️📻🤷🏽♂️
