When a person in their mid to late 30's (Rodgers is going on 40) their body is more fragile and rigid, takes way way longer to heal than a person in their teens or 20's. A torn Achilles will make Rodgers a shell of himself, if he returns. But $75 million still going to his bank account, I think he'll be alright. 🤣😂🤣😂

as someone who tore achilees earlier this summer. The reaction of rodgers is all you need to know it was achilees injury. It doesnt hurt when it happens, theres no really excruciating pain..its more of a feeling. then after about 15 seconds you realize what just happened, and realize nothing is there to stand on normally. .its such a brutal injury, Prayers to Aaron for a well recovery to normalcy at minimum

For everyone who hasn’t torn their achilles, it’s a different beast. You’ll go months making maybe 3-5% progress, and the people around you will be completely oblivious to the difficulty you face daily. It must be an insane blow for a professional athlete, but I don’t think it’s worth your health at a certain point, especially given he could tear it again or have an even worse injury since his foundation is going to be shakier moving forward. All it would take would be his own O Lineman running into him wrong for it to happen, and the NFL is a different beast when it comes to this particular injury. Overall, Aaron Rodgers is a hall of famer and I think he should have no shame if he feels the need to retire at this point.

To me this is the most emotional injury I’ve had in my life simply because I’m the biggest Aaron Rodgers fan and I know tons of people don’t like him but this man has helped me through my childhood and gave me a reason to enjoy football every year. As an adult I ruptured my Achilles playing basketball. The negative results were substantial. My leg has never been the same and it has atrophied about 15% compared to my normal leg. Remember, he was tackled by a rusher that was not even blocked! What’s to prevent this from happening to a 40+ year old quarterback, who now has become even more immobile as a result of this injury? I think we’ve seen the last of him in a Jets uniform… Or any other uniform as well…

@@coachyvante2007 We got those turnovers because of our defensive positions. Plus most of the scoring drives didn't even come from the turnovers or we were way in the back anyway. Not to mention if ur talking turnovers then Dak Prescott is right up our wheelhouse next week. Is Rodgers getting injured a horrible detriment? absolutely, but we won 7 games last year with Zach or QBs at his level. This year we have an equally tough schedule, The young guys have another year of expirience, and Zach has gotten a bit better as well.

The biggest question mark of the offense was the offensive line. That question has been answered. No matter how great a QB is he can’t be successful if he spends most of his time laying on the ground I feel bad for Rodgers.

Gotta feel bad. I'm an AR fan and have been hoping he joined my 9ers. I ruptured my Achilles in my 20s it's the worse. After surgery I was out for a year just to be able to play pickup basketball again. To do that at 39 would be tough.
