Recognizing the unrelenting work ethic and high pain tolerance common among Koreans, director Tim Ro constructs a visual narrative exploring this unending cycle for short film HŏSa. Shooting in Seoul, the Rotterdam-based Korean-born filmmaker considers how this tendency to suffer silently has developed into a “work hard and play harder” culture, with alcohol and partying used to dull the pain without the hope of long-term relief.…read more at nowness.com

The most horrifying and beautiful thing is that everyone, from everywhere, can find this touching. The solution is still there.

the ultra wealthy 0,1% want only worker-consumers. the problem is their math is bad. No time for yourself or even relationship or kids, will shrink the population, because nobody has time for family. Also generational trauma caused by absent parents is huge issue.
