The reason it took so long to get the video off of my PVR was that the USB port was only USB1.0 (even though USB2 had been around for years when I bought it). Speaking of luck - the biggest break of the day was the double decker bus shot. I remember Sky cut to the studio within a couple of seconds of the bus moving through the shot. And we'd already decided it was too much of a long shot to make another attempt. I still have the map posters I bought for this somewhere...

They wouldn't have any issues doing that in the US with getting arrested. The biggest issue would be that 'news' happens so spread out here, they'd certainly have to time it to coincide with an election/inauguration/natural disaster/terrorist attack. Beyond that, the only way to do it would be to do the circuit in NYC where you stand outside the various morning show windows.

Breaking the News must be my all-time favourite video of yours, it was just perfect!! (as you described). I've shown it to relatives and friends and they all enjoyed it, my sister is now a fan of your videos too, Tom. You two sound exactly like my friend and I, with the inside jokes, puns, and getting fed up of each other after too long. God, you have no idea how much I enjoy this side of KZbin (The Technical Difficulties lot), thank you! :D

I'm guessing Denny's is the best analogy, maybe Red Robin.

Thank you for the tip about the science museum! I had no idea! Next time I am in London I will have to plan it to be at the end of the month so I can experience it.

I love the horrified expression Matt has when the math clicks and he realizes there are adults out there who were born in a time where google has always been there

Thanks Matt and Tom, I was wondering what to do in London for my birthday break in March and one of those days is "the last Wednesday of the month" and I've never been to the Science Museum so cheers! I'm looking forward to it

"Really funny when you're a student" I guess that's why I love the video so much! This is probably the best episode of Park Bench I'll ever watch. Shame you won't be making another but I get your points. Maybe you could think up another similar challenge which doesn't risk being arrested?!

Lol it's not. You could if you were trying to steal the mic or something but we have a long, proud history of being a goof in the background of cameras. Just look at all of the FHRITP videos. Aside from some huffy reporters, its all good. Edit: Not the original FHRITP, its fake, but plenty of copycats.

I don't consider someone a best friend unless we've made at least one joke involving a license plate we all tried to pronounce.

this video has made me appreciate the fact that i grew up in the generation with ease of accesss to creative tools, such as premiere pro and high quality low cost digital cameras
