My favourite hidden camera prank was a video where a guy wearing a scream mask jumped out of a dumpster and scared the crap out of people, the best part was that one guy just reacted and knocked him out cold as a reflex, it was beautiful, all I could think was 'that guy deserved that'. XD

Pranks with a negative outcome are mediocre and horrible. Public pranks which have a positive outcome are great, Improv Everywhere comes to mind on this subject.

My friend collects the cardboard cutouts from movies. She works in a movie theater and often takes them home once the movie isn't being promoted anymore. For a prank once, we stuck pictures of a lot of her friends to the backs of them. She's kept them so actually several of my friends are now cutouts in her closet from that old prank.
