don't get this twisted, saturn's regeneration seems to be an active ability (he has to activate it for it to take effect) so... that's already a weakness but i think it takes stamina out of him, if regeneration takes stamina out of him as it should then we can just fight him normally until he runs out of stamina and then he can no longer regenerate and kill him, nothing too deep about it... hopefully the problem is... i don't see luffy killing someone... so is luffy really going to kill saturn? or someone else will do the job?

Personally I think it'll be more like the other arcs, e.g. Dressrosa, rather than Enies Lobby. Comparing the first two Buster Calls, there's a small escalation going on, where Robin survived the first one with the help of a sympathetic Marine but then for the second one the Straw Hats had to make an escape on their own. I figure this one is going to have to be an even further escalation, where the crew has to protect Punk Records so it's not enough to just survive and escape the Buster Call, they have to outright stop it.

The new anime chapter with the introduction of Atlas made me think... Atlas spoke about the reality of things philosophically, and that little tidbit that just happened quickly put me thinking about Bonney's power and Gear 5 too! . Guess who was there on the side munching down while that was spoken?! Bonney and Luffy! But here's the kick, Chopper was also there, which made me think about how that phrase could relate to Chopper in any way. And I figured it out! Chopper's awakening will all hinge on how he sees his devil fruit and himself! He has this strong bias that he and his forms are like monsters, aberrations due to his trauma, and he had to lose his fear of becoming a monster to train and master Monster Point. The fruit he ate however is the Human-Hunan Fruit, which by nature is Human which is generically the opposite of monstrous. So maybe Chopper's changing the perception of his own devil fruit will lead to him truly and fully awakening his fruit, and maybe becoming a real boy Pinocchio style when awakened.

I never really understood the whole idea of using those light gloves, because the only people who even stands a chance at fighting Kizaru already knows Haki, so I can't really see the use of those gloves.

Its one of those things oda creates for fun and never does anything meaningful with it afterwards, he used those light gloves to explain how atlas can beat up holograms but never has atlas fight in this arc(and shes the violence vegapunk too) or give the gloves to anyone without haki, tis a shame

I think the same reason why vegapunk can't remove primal instincts from living things is connected to the same kind of reason why Kuma still has will despite his current condition. Could the energy that vega punk discovered that surrounds them be the voice of all things? Imu said the D.s are husks that know no significance of their name. A husk usually house a soul/spirit/ energy/ mana. Could the D clan have the ability to absorb/ manipulate this limitless all over place power source? Seems like a really big threat against the world government if they could use it.

Which that deal is now null and void since the power plant is ON Egghead, which is now set to be DESTROYED. So Saturn just completely ended the bargain made to York given the very thing she needs to produce said Mother Flame for them is now about to be completely obliterated and no longer exist unless they SOMEHOW prevent the Buster Call from happening (which maybe they can, maybe if Luffy uses his powers to affect the entire island, or maybe Devonn is disguised as a vice admiral and she starts shooting at all the other marine ships because Blackbeard also wants Egghead to remain intact for reasons, or the ancient robot arrives and destroys all the marine ships, etc)

I honestly think Blackbeard’s a Buccaneer. He and Kuma have a similar body type, he’s amazingly durable, considering the Dark-Dark Fruit’s double damage drawback, and Marco even mentioned an “abnormality” in his body, which may as well be the special Buccaneer trait Vegapunk was talking about. Also, their hairstyles are amazingly similar, but that’s neither here nor there.
