@@BaileyKmc don’t try to hold her when petting her most rabbits hate being picked up no matter how much they trust you. try petting her when you’re feeding her so she links being pet to something she likes, but if that doesn’t work maybe that’s just her personality.

@@BaileyKmc Put a tiny bit of banana or other favorite soft food on the back of your hand/finger if you trust her not to nibble. You could otherwise put it on your leg or jeans if you don't mind washing. She will likely try to lick the soft treat off from you, instead of taking a firm treat and running to eat it in secret. Her licking you will encourage her to let you rub her forehead or pet her to return the "grooming" behavior. As she becomes more comfortable with this exchange, she'll likely "ask you" to groom her with your hands or feet when she wants attention and is near you.

I had my bunny in a small hutch outside before I learned that’s not ok, and he always bit me and was scared of me. I finally learned about buns more and convinced my parents and they understood and kept him in a xpen and he opened up so much!! Now he is free roaming and plan to get him a girlfriend soon (spayed and neutered of course)

My rabbits were always fine outside, but they were also bred + raised outside or for my boy he was found in the wild(100% pet due to the colour), no clue how long he was feral but all were very happy outside In my area its very common for rabbits + guinea pigs to be outside(in proper conditions, like large run, big cages, hay 24/7...)

This happened to me unexpectedly as well. I was visiting my old neighborhood from childhood and found a rabbit in a cage. I got to talk to the family, who were very friendly and open to discussing rabbit care. I am not sure how much of an impact I made but I did give them a big bag of my hay and watched a few of your videos with the young girls there. I wrote down your channel and saved it on their phone. I hope the bunny is doing okay.

You saved that darling bunny from a miserable lonely life to soon being happy and connected to the family! I’m a fairly new Howland Lop bunny mom! Had mines for about a little over 2 months. And he has his own room. We have what they called a bonus room in the house that we bought and turned it into our Bunnys room. But he still has free range of the house during the day. If we have to go out, then we put him back in his room. We have learned so much about our little bun bun! And he absolutely loves us as much as we love him! They are so smart! Ugh if they could talk! Lol 😆 we spoil him!! 🤎🤍💛 I hope this family was able to keep Fluffy in the house forever!

This situation gave me mixed emotions. It makes me feel sad to see a bunny existing outdoors in those kinds of conditions. I am happy You, ladies, handled it well and used the right tone, vocabulary, and energy so they would allow you both to help because your main focus was on the poor bunny. I hope they keep him inside from now on and I hope they lose that idea of getting a female. I couldn't imagine. I don't want to. As bunny owner, this made me tear up! My husband works at people's homes and has seen several dead pet rabbits outside in small cages. We live in a state that has extreme temperatures and lots of outdoor predators, so bunnies don't last long outside. It breaks my heart that so many people get pet rabbits without knowing how to properly care for them. People like you are guardian angels for these buns! This family seemed so sweet and they geniunely care about Fluffy. I am so glad that they let you give him some extra care. Thank you for all that you do! ❤

This channel is so educational and amazing. I have two little ones and they literally own my bedroom. They'll let me know if my new furniture isn't the vibe. Having your bunnies inside really allows you to bond so much better. They know my routine and give me cuddles and kisses when I'm doing my skincare at night. They know when I wake up in the morning so they watch me and wait ( its kinda scary). LOVE THIS CHANNEL SO MUCH!!

So nice! So many people aren’t told how to care for their bunnies. We love our Holland lop! She’s litter trained and is in our living room. We interact with her daily and she’s very bonded to us. Rabbits are amazing pets, but every pet needs proper care.

I love the way you two approached this and how you communicated with the family re making the changes for the bunny. I think it made all the difference. I live in New Zealand and it is still so unusual for rabbits to be inside as part of the family. Mine live inside and have a whole room, but I still get such weird comments from people. It is still too common for rabbits to live outside in hutches as they are seen as outside pets, also we have a huge pest issue with rabbits here which doesn't help peoples views. We also don't have all the awesome resources, enrichment and toys for bunnies here and very expensive to purchase online so have to do lots of DIY stuff. The only good thing is we don't have severe weather and not the predators that the US has. Spaying and neutering is not as common here, but it is changing. I am learning so much from you and your approach and my goal is to help as many bunnies as I can and educate people on their care as they are such amazing pets.

Good job. Fluffy is precious. I hope they treat him well. I have a double lionhead that needed a lot of care when I adopted her. She had been mostly caged, was literally blinded by the overgrown fur on her face, her unclipped nails were curled under, and I'm pretty sure I brushed out a literal bucketful of fur from her. What was once a scared, unkempt bunny has turned out to be the sweetest pet ever. She's now entirely free roam, has a healthy diet, zoomies around every morning, and every morning and evening comes up on my bed for cuddles.

Our bun is a free range indoor / outdoor bun. It's too cold today so he is staying inside. We put him in "bunny jail (cage)" at night in the house to keep him safe from foxes and his bad behavior...lol I'm teleworking today so he'll have free roam of the house all day.
