As someone in the reptile community, hearing Lorelei ask if bearded dragons eat bunnies is hilarious to me. Especially since I'd be more worried about the bunny hurting the dragon in this scenario, but whatever works I guess.

Sounds similar to my situation. We rescued a bunny from a family that had more than enough money to care for Hendrix but had her listed for $20 with a wire cage. She was pregnant and now we have six bunnies in our home that we have to use our savings on to care for them. So glad this channel exists for more people to know the proper way to care for their buns. Thanks for all you do!!

I felt her pain watching this. I own a farm, I rescued 10 bunnies and I faced a similar issue with both space, and hormones between territory. I had to air condition one of my sheds and separated them in a similar way. I also have a large pen like she does, I move it around my field and play with some while they graze on fresh grass in secure areas when the weather lets us. I like bringing them on fresh grass and letting them dig and run and play. Its really sweet when they start bonding. I'm keeping a few and fostering the rest until I find good homes for them. Very happy to see this and gave me a few new toy ideas.

You are most definitely not arrogant you are confident because you get consistently great results with the things that you do. And I happen to love your personality because you are straightforward but not rude you are firm but flexible and overall I think you are so intelligent that you connect 100% with rabbits, they are simple and yet complex at the same time and you have this down pat! I would love for you to come to our home in Florida and do a bunny room makeover for the bunny that we adopted from our humane society. They rescued her from a hoarding situation in the panhandle of Florida, she was being attacked and bitten I'm sure she was not the only one, and she did lose her right eye because of it. We have had her and her name is O'Malley, since approximately February of this year and she's just now coming around to trusting us and we still don't know exactly what makes her tick, but we will never stop trying and we love her incredibly. Do you have any tips or advice for us concerning O'Malley and her visual impairment?? Much love!💕

I was on a subscription to Small Pet Select's 20 lb. boxes of timothy hay, costing around 50 dollars apiece. My shipments kept getting delayed, because they were coming from Oregon and northern California. I live in Florida. There are animals that eat hay here, so I don't know why my hay was being shipped from someplace 3000 miles away. Each box only really had about 15 lbs. of hay my rabbits would eat, anyway, with the rest being dust. I finally just went to a feed store reasonably close to me and got a 50 lb. bale for 26 bucks. It's cool the makeover people get free stuff, though. Also, one of my rabbits is named Bettie.

This video is so funny on so many levels! The portion where the homeowner cautions Lorelei and David to "watch your feet" when entering the house was pure gold. After Lorelei enters the house, she is confronted by Betty White the house guard rabbit who stares her down when she approaches. What happens next is hilarious! The white rabbit attacks Lorelei with no mercy, relentlessly nipping at her feet over and over. She's a KILLER RABBIT! Lorelei has no choice but to jump up on a nearby chair to save herself. This video is a classic that will hold up for many years to come. I love the Lennon the Bunny KZbin channel. Not only is it educational but it is also entertaining. I give this video a thumb's up, but I wish I could add another because it deserves 2 thumbs up!

I know this has been mentioned before but I'm 2 weeks late at seeing this video release. So here it goes. I think David's impression of Lorelei's vocal fry is soooo funny! And then Lorelei with her sharp wit immediately responds by imitating David's accent. She nailed it! But the best part is when she speaks with a New York accent. OMFG !!! Girl you are hilarious! You need to be a guest on one of the late night TV shows. Not only would doing that promote your KZbin channel, it would widen your viewer audience and possibly launch a new acting career for you. That was the best makeover yet! I am like Alycia. I started out with one bunny, took one in who had nowhere to go after we came back from a fire evacuation. So now I had two girls. One wanted to be friends so bad but my first bunny,Punkin is mean like Betty. Then I got an email for help with a rabbit who had an “ end date”. I didn’t even know they did that. So I took him and he was the most grateful loving little guy ever. He and Punkin bonded and they are like a loving married couple. (She still isn’t that fond of me, but she adores Willy Wonka,) Well, seeing what a softie I was the Rabbit Rescue called me the next month with another boy with an end date. He was in rough shape, and I seriously didn’t think he’d make it through the night. I nursed him back to health, got him neutered, and in time learned how to bond him with my other girl. Now they are even cuter than the first couple. They follow me around like puppies. It doesn’t end there. Of course I was a happy foster failure with those two boys. A few months later there was a crisis of a Momma and her five babies with nowhere to go. I have been a good foster this time and I have been able to let go. Some found homes and soon the others will😇🙏 I knew nothing about bunnies until I found your channel when my granddaughter wanted a bunny. We both watched together and have learned so much from you. We found you two years ago. Who knew then that instead of one bunny, I would end up caring for so many🐰❤️

I got two bunnies from the SPCA and I was expecting to be rejected because I only had one room for the bunnies to live in and they can't free roam... But I think the shelter would have gladly given me all their bunnies 👀. They said it's really tough to adopt bunnies out and they they usually end up in the shelter for months upon months. My two bunnies hate each other so I had to split the room in half. I would worry if I had gotten more. Like what if I had 8 bunnies and they all hated each other 😱! I wouldn't know what to do!

Hey, it might make it easier for you to give one back and get another one instead so that they'll be more harmonious. It's better for the bunnies that way bc they love cuddling with each other and grooming etc.
@Zullala
@Zullala 2 жыл бұрын
@@lafidala.1726 That's a good idea... Except I've already had them for almost a year now. I kept thinking they would eventually bond and well bonding did happen but it was between me and them. They really like me and I love them, I just wish they could have learned to like each other. I know I can never cuddle a bunny like another bun can but I try my best and they seem happy. Plus I'm afraid to return one of them because 1) I've grown so attached and 2) I'm afraid the one I return will never be adopted and/or will be upset to be separated from me. Plus I can't decide which one to get rid of. Though I'm thinking I would return the "cuter one". They are both super cute but one bun is more unique with his black nose and helicopter ears. He would probably be adopted faster than my agouti bun... But I'm only going to do that in case of emergency. If I ever come across someone who falls in love with one of my bunnies and has a good home for them then I would feel better about adopting one out. Especially if I knew the person and knew they would take good care of him.

I had two litters that were all bonded from birth. Once they hit four months tho we had to find alternate homes. The males were the worst. One actually had his penis bit, came home to blood all over the house… we had to have one freeroam to a room and one in an xl dog crate to avoid them biting each other. The only room that did not have a pair of bunnies was my bathroom. I only have three now, finally. And I was lucky to find great homes with only one casualty out of the 14 we had.it was a handful for quite some time but we handled them and they became awesome house bunnies for their owners.

You guys have such big houses in the US, in the U.K here, you have to have over a million pounds to buy a house that size! Bought my house for £250,000 and it is unbelievably small. I have 2 bunnies, it has been a really tough ride having them indoors with such limited space while trying to keep the house looking tidy.

Lol!! Sounds like something I used to do! Everyone knew I was a sucker for bunnies, especially the underdogs!! No was not a word that existed in my bunny world vocabulary !! 😂😂❤️🤗!!! Than my depression took over after so many years after trying to comfort my mental illnesses with the love and joy the bunnies gave me that nobody else ever could! Long story, 25 years later, now on disability in a crappy small apartment, I have 2 bunns and a rescue kitty. I lost my second husband this past December to suicide!! I was supposed to go with him, as we had planned, but apparently he wanted me to carry on and fight to get well. He knew our babies would be left behind, and that they would never receive more love than from me! Sebastian left me to be with them, in hopes, I think, that without having to take care of him I could find time for me. Time to heal. Sebastian felt as if he was nothing but a burden!! But he wasn’t!!! He was the only human friend I had, and now he’s gone!! I’m trying to find an affordable neuter clinic maybe for my new boy. So many places listed on line! But they discourage me to keep him, because am on disability!!! I had to help Mr, Magoo cross Rainbows Brigde a few months after I lost my husband!! He fought fo 7 months with an unexplainable GI Issue, but nobody had an answer!! I put about $1000 into him. We had no life insurance, and because it was a suicide, there is no spousal support!!!!! The state paid for a cremation, which included a plastic bag with a zip tie attaching his blue toe ID tag that was originally placed in his toe at the mortuary. The state paid but took all our money from checking to pay for it. Poor Hazel and I were alone! I rescued my kitty Juliet, but it was not Hazels cup of tea 😁lol! I ended up rescuing a beautiful, red, 12 week Velveteen male bunny wha was needing to be seperated from his brothers Bonding Bugsy with Hazel was breeze, but the cost of neutering is insane !! $400 to $500 to get Bugsy done!!!!!! Being on disability and now on my own I don’t know where to turn! Shelters, rescues, and even the aspca say it’s not a good idea for me for too many reasons to mention without blowing my 🤬🤯!! They complain of being over run, but they feel that having depression anxiety PTSD, fibromyalgia and living alone, I have no right taking on my pets!!!! My babies are what keep me breathing and on a healthy path to healing!! I have a lot of goals to meet an I’m sure, there will always be more trials and tribulations, but each milestone I cross, the more I smile again!! I could turn to a lot of illegal means, but I believe in Karma!! I’m blessed to. In fact, I will keep that name for my next rescue baby????? Lol!! I am not sure if anyone reading my comment, can help me with some suggestions?? Unfortunately I am putting a big c@£*#}|~€*7(!!age together because will not always use any of the 4 litter boxes in my 475 sq ft apartment!! Even if I use different begging it doesn’t matter!! I’m going to miss his sweet middle of the night and morning kisses!! Bugsy is soooo sweet in the love department!! I have never had a bunny she so much grace and thanks t me!! Once Hazel catches on, she joins in, and than Juliet, my kitty, must squeeze in to be loved on! What a fiasco!! I love it!! They keep me alive with their love! A lot people can’t grasp this type of love! It is so unconditional, so peaceful, ❤️🤗😘🌈🙏🥰😍 I thank God for all of these ever so small, yet ever so important gifts He gives me every day! I am slowly moving ahead and making small plans, but my biggest is getting Bugsy neutered, and on the top is a safer environment in a HUD housing situation, with a fresh start. But with all that so many others are struggling I need to help them too!! Thank you to everyone out there who is a animal advocate and a voice for those who need help!! May God Bless you, and when He sees the time is right, you will be called upon!! Just hold that faith, and don’t loose it!! Even some local food markets, farms and some grocery stores will sometimes donate produce that may not be perfect or are the last few left before restocking. Be pesistant!! Bring your support bunny with you and maybe some flyers!! You Can Do It!! Let’s go Lennons!!! My final goal is a small simple house with wildflowers all around the house with a wrap around porch with 2 swings. One to watch the sun come up and one to go down. There would be a separate ramp for the bunnies to did and play in their own little vegetable/ flower garden, with bird baths and houses and a koi pond with a waterfall. This would be in Washington, but close enough to get to a tram station or the ⛴ ferry. I lived in Idaho on the Spokane boarder, but moved back to shitty NY to reunite with family who deserted me anyway!!!! I was already so close, but if I had not move back my life would not be where it is now, so this how and where God wanted me to be today. I hate the heat and only minor sun. It effects my health physically and emotionally. 500 square feet is perfect!! With my fibromyalgia and chronic pain and falling, I could do a all the round upstairs loft. Bunny safe of course ! Lol 😂. A doggie door for outside litter box. A huge one!!! I could just keep raking and composting it. Throw down some straw one one side and a few big hay bins around the porch. Screen ended in of course, with something I could install easily during winter ❄️ ! A safe natural way to take the chill off so me and the kids could still sit out and watch the snow and the bunns could play if the wanted. Lops would be porch bound ! No frozen ears please !!! 😂🐰🎄❄️🌨🌧🌦⛈🌤⛅️ !!! This is my dream!! I don’t know how I got to this point answering a comment……. My apologies!! I still miss my husband not being here to talk to. He loved our bunnies, but he never was able to meet Bugsy, and never knew that his boy, Magoo passed on shortly after! I just don’t think his illness allowed him to show as much joy as I was still able to! Thank You Lord for giving me this strength and this love I have for animals because without it, I don’t think I could still be holding on! I keep this dream alive in my head for something to keep me going!! Distracted from the sadness and brokenness left behind piece by piece through out life. I am glad I survived my many own suicide attempts!!!! I may be a dreamer, but maybe one day, one of my big dreams will come true!! I am no dreaming of materialistic fantasies. I want it more for the animals. All I would really really need, is a good mattress for my pain, and the same with a comfy recliner. I can’t be on my feet a lot so I need small amounts of decent rest here and there. I don’t even look at a clock except for dr. Appointments. Otherwise I sleep when I’m tired and am up when I’m up. Watching tv with the kids snacking on my lap. Or just laying or sitting spending time with them. All the wild flowers are not just for yearly bloom age and beauty, but no mowing!!! Lol. I could even grow my own hay!!! Wow!!! This dream could be never ending!! But if anything it gave me the first inspiration I have had in years !!! Look at all the popular You Tubers out there?? Bet you never had a clue? Huh?? But look at you now!!! Even Lennon will go down in history!!! When does her book come out? Just a small simple series for kids and one for beginners!! Thanks for listening if you even made it this far!!! It’s my therapy!! Who needs a person with a note book saying “ uh huh , uh huh!” And how does that make you feel??? Lol? I feel like shoe when I leave, but right now I feel pretty darn good 👍. So goo I would do a binky if I had room and didn’t sprain my ankle. Lol 😂. With much sincere love to all the Lenny’s out there!!!! ❤️🤗🐰😘🌈

XD I fostered a super territorial little bun for the local shelter, she was a terrific little lady but she sure kept me on my toes! I love spicy little bunnies. My daughter really wants a permanent bunny, but she’s still a toddler so we’re going to stick with fostering for a few years until she has better impulse control. She’s fabulous with our fosters but I have to watch super closely all the time because she likes to try to feed them her food. In the meantime we like to watch your channel and learn how to spoil our fosters and future permanent resident.

You are awesome! Small Pet Select is the best! Our buns love their hay, food, treats and toys. I had a couple of house rabbits over the years that would run to the front door every time the doorbell rang to meet and great guests. They would also jump and chairs and the sofa and lay down next to guests. They just wanted lovens. I have two large house buns so I have to use a cement tub so they can both fit in the litter box with their hay. They are bigger than the biggest kitty litter boxes. Bunny Beds and Beyond makes the cutest wood litter boxes (with or without plastic litter box) with hay bin sections. They can make a custom size or design for your existing litter box. They have big bunny castles too. LOL
